I was curious as to which age groups will be playing what factions, so I made a poll.

If you are younger than 10 just select the age 10-17 answer =)

As for myself I'm in the 18+ group and I'll be playing The Galactic Republic.

I'm over 18 but I'll be playing both factions. You should've added that option as well.

Just select the one you'll be playing first.

To what end? So you can attempt to confirm your suspicions that young immature kids will play the good guys and make yourself feel better about playing with the older more mature crowd on the side of the Empire? Why do people feel the need to keep making these self affirming threads?

18+ (and then some) and will play Galactic Empire

21 here and will play sith empire.

but will also play republic later on.

i want to play jedi so galactic republic BUT i really like the jump to target move the sith warrior gets so if jedi aren't to my ehart's desire and have some equal in scope and power, and have an option to play a single bladed dps spec i will be going sith warrior.

i can rp both pretty well, and in kotor games i enjoyed both sides.

in fact in mmo's i tend to RP somewhere on the classic dnd scale as evil, mostly due to pvping, although it is possible to rp on the good side of that scale and still pvp(ie anti gank/pker squads)

i see possible annoying groups of players playing on both factions, but not necessarily to the degree of the pre tbc horde and alliance stereotypes.

i just better not see wow style corss realming RPers who feel that the best hope for the galaxy is for both sides to work together or some shit, or else i'll nerd rage like it's swg nge time.

The Sith will conquer all. I am glad there will be so many slaves at my disposal come the grand conquering of the Republic.

Nice idea on the poll.  I was curious on this stat as well.  I would make a hypothesis that the younger crowd will be leaning towards the republic and the older crowd toward the empire.  I don't think your poll differentiates enough to see which one has the older crowd.  I think a lot of the 17 y.o.'s probably vote as 18+.  You should of done more age groups like 18-25, 25+ ect.

I'm 16 and I will be playing as the Sith Empire (: I'm the only one, and damn proud of it!

As was already said, should have made the poll more informative. Age groups split in groups of 10 years, 0-10, 11-20, 21-30 etc.

I disagree, imo I think the older crowd who have been star wars fans for a long time will play the Republic, and the younger crowd will play the sith empire.

You know there will be 30, 40, 50 and 60 year olds playn. I do know some a couple 60 year olds that enjoy online gaming. A few 50s and several 40s. Tons upon tons of 30s. I guess they all fall into the 18+ category. So basically, there is a 8 year category and a 50 or even 60 year cat.

10-17 and 18+  are not good options when they are the only ones.

True, but I don't really need to know if someone is 41-51 I just wanted to know the simple question of  "who is over 18 years old and who is not".

But by all means make a poll of your own with those questions I'll gladly cast my vote.
