Hey guys, I am on a monthly download limit and can only get large files at the end of the month and even then I need to keep an eye on the size. Can somoene please tell me the size of any/all patches that I need to get up to date from the retail store-shelf copy? Thanks!

I don't know the size of the patches, some where 400mb, some 700mb if I remember. I can tell you my Live directory is 3.48 gig then minus 146 megs of screenshots. When I was having problems with the game and deleted the pigg files it was around a 3 gig download. I think the entire game is in those pigg files. You may get a better answer over at the official forums. They are usually pretty helpful when I have problems with the game. I don't actually have an active account at CO official site so cannot ask there. And. I dont want to sign up until I have the game installed so as to not be paying a subscription for a game i am not playing.

I think it is safe to say it will not go over 4 gig since the game isn't bigger than that. A quick curious question. How did you get to be the Champions Online Correspondent if you don't play the game? About the title: i signed up as a corresondent ages ago and was first writing about CO pre-release. Since then I swapped games to write about City of Heroes and then Aion. It was tricky to get the title changed. These days I don't write here but since I can only have the one account with MMORPG.com I am still listed as Champions Online correspondent. I should settle down on a game and see if the supervisors want me back. :)
