I cant see paying a sub for a game that is one dimensional.  Too many good shooters out there today that do the same thing.  Even with vehicles.

However, if Fallen Earth were to grab up the combat aspect including vehicle controls of APB (from the youtube stuff I seen) then I would pay $25 a month for a sub fee.

Fallen Earth has a crap load of stuff to do in game.  The graphics are good as well.  The only thing that keeps me away is the character model animation and the combat.  The concept is there , but the execution is like a 6 year old designed it and everyone left it alone cause it would make him cry.

APB, from what I have read and watched, just doesnt have the substance.  A lot of folks are comparing it Crimecraft.

Crimecraft was AWESOME with the combat.  Other than a couple of problems with balance issues, it is by far the best FPS  maps and combat I have played to date.  And the no jumping was a boon.  Graphics, control responsiveness, hit boxes (meaning where you were is where you are and not 2 feet behind...not lag but the player location looks to be in one place, but the game map sees you in another ) everything was spot frickin on.   Its problem?  Crap to do outside combat.  Why pay every month for that?

Unfortunately, I see APB going that route.   I hope it doesnt.

Did we really need a third thread like this?

Of course.  Cause it is MY thread I started.  And I have a way with words and I am communicating my thoughts and ideas into something that is my own and sharing it with a community.

Is that not what the forums are for?

Besides, if you took the time to read it, you would see that it is not a bitch session.  It actually includes thought.

Ya, I was thinking about getting this game but I'm slowly changing my mind, it just doesn't seem worth it to play a monthly fee to get the same gameplay and depth I can get a million other places for free.

The game plays ok.. But paying $10 a month, I am not so sure about.  Not enough content.  You run, you shoot, you drive and you get some new weapons.

Beyond that, it is no different than Bad Company 2.

when did  bad company get character customization, car customization, theme or music making, graffite, clothing custimization with your own symbols. I found they have some unique character and car equipment with upgrades when you level up.

it funny how there so many threads about it. Itsnt it the same in all mmos? every quest is go kill x or grab x. All classes cookie cutter dps/tank/healer

Most FPS are not as dynamic as APB with all its custimization.

You're paying 10bucks a month or less for CSR, servers, and continue development. This means there always more to be added.

Also, when you preorder you got 60hours of action distract gameplay, that 4x more the time it took me to beat mass effect 2 on hard.

Actually there is Clan content. I can't remember what the hotkey is but if you check the control settings there's a button for clans / guilds, whatever. Clans are gonna be a huge thing in this game.

'U' for the Group/Friends/Clan menu.

Here's a post I made on the official forums. I think I s hould keep it on my clipboard as I'm seeing these threads pop up everywhere. Is it worth the subscription fee?

As long as they add content consistently and in sufficient quantity and quality, then the sub is worth it. Regular FPS games don't add much free content after release, and don't offer this kind of open world. That is, the large 80 person free-roaming maps, a graphical social zone and extreme customization. There is also a decent level of long-term character development along with world persistence.

I think it qualifies. If you don't, that's ok. Remember, it's your money. You can spend it on whatever you deem valuable.

Played the closed beta, Was fun for the first few days, not gonna buy it.

LoL

Vague I know but the combat system seems a bit off, no hit boxes or anything the last time I played. Basically you could shoot someone in the foot with the sniper twice and their dead. The concept and theme is awesome no doubt, customization is among the best ive seen. Creating your own police force or criminal organization is a good theme, but the combat system usually makes or breaks alot of games for me I dont know about everyone else.

But still a fun game to pick up and play, but subscription fee worthy?  ehh...  not to me but im sure there are plenty of people who will like the game the way it is and have a blast. After playing in the beta for almost 2 months I can see them trying to fix things, to many overpowered weapons, the rocket launcher.... lol.

To each his own though. Like I said its not a "bad" game just not my style of combat.
