Originally posted by paterah Yeah, the same guy keeps making new accounts and trolls the same forum? It gets tiresome. Personally, I don't care if housing is in at release. It's been implemented since OB so I'm not worried if SV wants to tweak it. I'd rather see thieving stay out until they get it right, so no worries there. Show me an MMO that DOESN'T have a 'known issues' list somewhere, and I'll show you a game that's not well documented. edit: None of that matters though, because he was obviously trolling. Sorry for taking the bait. OT: Still downloading patch, I'll post when I get some time to test it out. EDIT: Played around for a bit. The graphics update seems to do the trick, the fps hiccups that used to hit in towns haven't showed up thus far... it's looking pretty good actually. |

Reading thishttp://www.mortalonline.com/forums/43393-big-improvement-speed-graphics-since-v-0-16-27-36-june-4th.html topic, it seems that the latest patch brought HUGE improvement on performance and also somehow better graphics. I can't tell if it's true cause I'm still downloading patch myself, but seems very promising. |

In the center of meduli with all graphic options at the highest I have no fps drop or lag what so ever, brilliant! Although there was only 8 people on the screen we shall see. Can't wait to see the upgraded weather effects taking place. |

Originally posted by Thorii Yes there is a huge increase in FPS and no drops that interfere with ingame performance, need more people online though. Seem not that many got that last patch yet. Desync seem to be totally gone which is good cause it was a gamebreaker for me. Aragon - Member of B@D guild |

Originally posted by AllSeeingGuy He's saying that because there's only 3 days left now until the release, not enough time for SV to make any significant changes to the game. Crunch time has arrived in other words, so I wouldn't start claiming victory just yet. |

Originally posted by Aethaeryn haha, yea. SV has a good track record of implementing what they talk to their customers about, it just takes much longer than I'd like. I'm not concerned though; most MMO's don't have housing in at release, and SV has already hammered down most of it (cuz it's been in since I started playing). I'm not sweating launch tbh, as long as SV can keep up the pace for the months that follow. |

Keep grasping on what negative you can find. Balancing is a never ending beast that many MMOs have to deal with. The people are not asking for a ENTIRE remake of the system as you seem to be implying. Only that the values need tweaked. Not to mention that only 100 people voted out of THOUSANDS. As I said before, keep on trying. Soon enough you will phase out like the other negative posters in these forums when the game goes live. I don't expect the launch to be perfect but if SV can pump out update patches/bug fixes this big in 4 days I have much hope. BTW the patch was 2gig. Launch in another 4 days , its very well possible that at this rate we will see another fairly beefy patch. SV notorious for actually having a "miracle" the one patch to silence them all? Time will tell. |

Originally posted by Neoptolemus SV has already won, the game is stable , desync is gone. What else is there? I mean seriously everything that has been posted on this forum negative about SV has been addressed/fixed. What changes are you talking about? |

Originally posted by AllSeeingGuy The desync/lag is currently "fixed" while the majority of features are turned off, and low populated server. They did not "win" yet, you don't seem to know in how many ways launch can screw up.. The below is from today only, from different people, and you to call the game stable? Hmm...
[20:58] [20:33] [18:03] [15:27] [14:45] [12:04] major crash [09:35] P.S. Server is still down as I am writing this. P.S.S One hour later, server down again.
Not to mention the flying mobs, zebra shadows, crash from reading some books, invisible mobs and much more.. |

Originally posted by Toferio The majority? Hardly, a few things are turned off right now, which was working before the engine update. If the server is down most likely they are working in some server side patches or getting ready for another patch. I am sorry to say but maybe some of the negativity around here has rub off on you. The game is looking like its going to pull out regardless of what the nay sayers have to say. Please check back after launch so I can do my fudderwacker dance. |

Originally posted by AllSeeingGuy It was actually crash, which was confirmed by som mods. It's saturday evening, I doubt they are working atm (Yes, I heard before how important it is to them, just saying). As you could see from IRC quotes, quite few still have troubles with random crashes, to contrast what you been saying. As for the features.. Let's see what is turned off atm: ------ DISABLED SYSTEMS ------ Housing, Thievery and guild system are important features of the game (Basically 50% of current visible features). Fall damage is too, an important part of the gameplay. I think there is a good reason for them being turned off, despite them working before the update, they may cause trouble now (it was proved that even small upgrades to the game can affect it pretty badly). I am not trying to make a point that MO wont make it. I am trying to say that it is far to early to celebrate, we will see in a week ^^ |
