If there was no such thing as war, there would be no such thing as peace.

i know itw prolly been brought up before but they really need to find a way to stop ppl from KS'ing.its just such a fun-killer.one of the things i noticed when i was playing EQ was there were constant arguments about groups KSing other groups and one person KS'ing another.i thought it was supposed to be a kind, helpful community on EQ.im sure many ppl dont go as low as KS'ing others, but somthing has to be done about it if EQ wants to keep its players

There's KSing, which is against the code of conduct, and there's Camp-stealing, which Sony does nothing about.

In response to the KSing, do you REALLY want sony to go the way that so many other MMO's have gone, and have locked encounters? Or do you want random people to be able to help you on request?

In response to the camp stealing, politely ask the thief over OOC to stop camp stealing. Ruin his rep and get your point across at the same time. :) Either that, or start pulling from his camp.

Camps haven't been support for SOE for over a year, they changed the policy. Their policy now states that in fair play if you have a camp and someone else comes up saying they want the camp as well you must share it or violate the fair play rules.

Thats been atleast a year, maybe longer.

And BTW, locked encounters are fantastic, if you bite off more then you can chew with an encouter, you either break the encounter and lose the experience as it should be, sprint away, or die.

They had locked encounters in EQ2 but they got rid of them because people were complaining about not being able to help others when they are in trouble, heal them, buff them, exct...  Since they had them in EQ2 I don't think they'll put them in EQ1.

sony found a way to stop KSing when the game first came out, sadly though people chose not to

play on the server where it was fixed. the fix was called PvP and people chose KSing bah...

Good idea, lets invite the griefers and gankers to deal with the KSers.
