This is quite scary! Luckily they defused it but it makes you wonder if anything else like this will happen soon.

Im actually going on a road trip to NYC, Im leaving tomorrow morning. Would of been a crazy sight to see if I was there a day eariler.

This something only good police work is able to stop.

It worries me that instead on focussing more on police work they are putting more attention towards vigilance of the populatian. Tappings/Data mining/Camaras etc etc...while more they depend on those thing the lazier they become and it will not benefit us giving away privacy and freedom.

These criminals will still plan their shifte deeds and when those that police become lazy on technology those criminals will have more chance to succeed.

Firstly, so glad you guys in the US got the bomb in time.  Good work on that t-shirt seller dude who spotted it, and I hope he gets a fekload of recognition for being the hero that he was.

They tried the same thing in my home country, Scotland with the attempted car bombing of Glasgow airport. Fortunately, they only burned themselves and one of them got a good kicking to boot from John Smeaton.

What I think is that they need to GTFO of the middle east with our troops.  These people who like to hurt us are everyday gaining more people to hate us because we occupy their homelands and took over, we have to look at it from their point of view.  I am not saying it is right but I am saying if you mess with people be prepared for anything.

Great job on them stopping this attack, although the 3 propane tanks would of done no real harm because they have a safety valve to vent the propane and no real explosions would happen.  That makes me think it was done by one those Muslim Fanatical groups in NYC you seen that threatened South Park.  Stupid idiots have no idea how to do anything correctly, they are just mouth spiting haters of America.

There is no way we can keep our peaceful position and reputation of a good country the longer we stay over there. The real issue is IRAN and we should be stopping them from getting a NUKE rather then fight these mountain people who occasionally shoot at our troops because you know they are shooting at your dumb ass because your on their land.
