I gave it a 8 out of 10 just because of the potential |

Yes. "Consolidate your own news on your site rather than spreading it around on 3 different sites. I will check the official site, but I don't want to bother with also having to check Facebook and Twitter, or whatever else they might think is "cool", because it isn't." Axxar |

If you are going to release an unfinised game then DONT EXPECT PEOPLE TO PAY FULL PRICE. 50$ fo the game and 15$ a month subscription it's too steep for your current product. If you can't make the game cheap then either make it FTP or lower the monthly fee (5$ a month) until it can be considered a good, mostly bug free game. I personaly wouldn't mind subscribing to the game as it is (and buying the game) if the montly fee is lowered. otheweise i will wait untill the game is somewhat more playable and interesting. |

The great thing about MMO's is despite what people think us customers have all the power. I wont be playing a game that is broken and i doubt a lot of people will either. If the game lives and offers a free trial i might give it a shot but until then i will not rage about this game i will just not pay which means a lot more then some words on a forum....its as easy as that. Originally posted by knighthonor Lots of people are interested in the game, some wont mind subscribing. Probably is the only way they are getting the money. Tthe only thing someone has to do is look at the patch notes so far, and see if they are doing the best to their ability in making the game playerable. Providing bug fixes and glitches and what not, and ask themselves "is it worth my time and money to see it through". |

The problem is, in the current state, there really is no guarantee that it can be patched up to a workable state. It's pretty critically flawed from a technical standpoint rather then a mechanics standpoint, and it may very well never reach a "playable" area. Basically, I'll say it's ok for them to release in its current state given that they absolutely have to in order to keep the project going. What isn't ok is expecting people to accept the game in its current state, passing it off as though "all goals have been met" and otherwise guilting and scheming people into subscribing to a broken game. Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts. EAT ME MMORPG.com! |

Originally posted by IAmMMO People always consider potential as a good thing... but I believe there is a much greater "potential" for an epic DnL type launch than for a game that will become a classic.
The good thing is that potential turns into reality in 3 days so we will all see what happens. "I should point out that no other company has shipped out a beta on a disc before this." - Official Mortal Online Lead Community Moderator Starvault's reponse to criticism related to having a handful of players as the official "test" team for a supposed MMO: "We've just have another 10ish folk kind enough to voulenteer added tot the test team" (SIC) This explains much about the state of the game :-) |
