The cash shop won't have anything OP if gPotato stick to what's in the other versions. ![]() |

The cash shop won't have anything OP if gPotato stick to what's in the other versions. After the Allods crap, I honestly don't see why anyone is giving gpotato a second look these days. I have no beef with f2p games, but gpotato has shown to be one of the worse in terms of "pay 2 win" ripoff games. |

I thought the issue with Allods were the prices, not the content, which I am talking about.
gPotato could make big changes to the cash shop, but I don't see what they could add to make someone OP in a mass PvP game where you can get taken down in a matter of seconds. ![]() |

This game aint that bad for a f2p.. There are some things that need to be improved though.. The chat system needs to be redone - the WASD movements need to be better and less ice skaty - combat animations could be smoothed out a bit - combat abilities need to fire faster..ect. I was also under the impression that when playing on the PvE server you couldnt be attacked if you did not click the PvP button. I was either wrong or some have found a way to bypass that ( saw a couple people attacking afkers at the Zan Temple ). Allods has the quality but the cash shop is just way overpriced and pretty much forcing people to buy those " get out of jail " potions is just pure greed. |

The differences between channels is the RvR aspect and being able to travel to the other nations, as well as a minor difference or two, such as mobs having 5% less HP in PvP, but I believe also have a 5% increase in attack or defense. I think the drop rate might be a hair different as well, but don't take my word for it. ![]() |

This game has surprised me. It basically took over my weekend, so I agree with the OP. It's a fine game and doesn't receive enough attention. There are different definitions of grind, and every MMO does it. The goal for me is to find a MMO that does not force me to mindlessly slaughter mobs for a minor amount of exp. In Aika my character's reached level 19 and there's no indication that the quests are going to dry up, and they bring in good exp. I've done what I call a "mindless mob grind" for maybe 15 minutes? There was a repeatable quest that I hammered out. My grouped partner was elsewhere & I didn't feel like running back to town or to the other camps. That's the only "grind" that I've done in 19 levels. The mob killing grind is there, but the exp rolls in smoothly enough that it has yet to get irritating. The pran is a cute addition. Here's a quick gif that I whipped up: I wish that the pran would trigger conversations more often to make it a bit more interactive. Anyway, it's been fun this weekend. Will it last? Who knows. We'll see, but so far I have no serious complaints, especially considering that it's a F2P. oh hai this is not a sig |

The PRAN reminds me of the MAG in Phantasy Star Online.. About the only grind thats there is if you want to craft.. Everything drops off mobs and you need a ton of items to create a full suit + weapon. |

Originally posted by Harabeck Everyone is pretty much the same. The cash shop allows you to get awesome item upgrades among other things. This game is just as much hype as it deserves, it is by no means underrated or underhyped. Its grind is long and boring, the graphics are only so-so, the gameplay is average, and the PvP doesn't quite make up for it. dont6 listen to him the graphic are very good its on par with guild wars but its a diff style no shiny here the way gpotato did it they make your card work so if you got a good card you ll get decent graphic but if you dont it will still look fair just deactivate blurr for some reason its not processed right it look bad when its on! |

I think the graphics are just fine.. But I do wish some texture had a higher res. I may force AF to see if that helps. I am having trouble doing the Zant Normal / hard instance.. Cant find a group for it. |

Now level 38.... on ostyrian, if you don't like the game, that's fine.. but it has so much potential.. the pvp in it will be amazing. They just need a bigger reason to stay on the pvp channel. Allying up to fight your own guilds in sieges for LM reign = win for politics.. the politics in this game rivals any mmo out there |

This game is Iffy in my eyes still, the grind isn't that long reguardless of what anyone says.... The PvE is easy and you pretty much glide through it if you use more then half a brain.. The PvP was where i really had my issues, i know this is built around large scale pvp. Let me go ahead and say that ahead of time, but honestly a game that has players hitting in PvE for 1.2k-2.2k and your average player (level 40) has somewhere around 2.5k and there is NO damage reduction in PvP means its 2 or 3 shots for a person to die. Most times in a small fight, whoever gets the jump wins... if you are head to head, whoever gets the CC wins.
I play a Cleric, currently lvl 42 even level or even slightly lower duel gunners and rifleman can kill me in roughly 2 shots. That is With max rank shield on, and having our Holy Intervention on (1.2k heal when you hit 50% health). Leads to being very frustrating when you realize that your class is pretty much useless in small scale pvp because of all the stuns, silences and the HUGE damage that can be done so quickly.
All and all, this is a very good game... Minus seeing the sieges i can easily say it is one of the better games i have played. But unless you like repetitive pve, and being Rather Horrid at PvP i wouldn't roll a Cleric or a Paladin. just my 2 cents there. |
