Ok I'm not one to usually bash games based on screen shots but are they kidding with this? If this was F2P item mall type game ok but they want AAA price and a monthly sub fee equal to top market games? Sorry I don't see it with such minimal info. Even if this game is totally legit I don't see how they can pull this off but it should be interesting.

Most people that are into sandbox games are not looking for high graphics. They are looking for a game that allows them to do or make just about whatever they want.

Read the features, you will notice that its a mix of what people want from sandbox games. Graphics isnt the biggest importance.

Ive seen games like Gemstone IV where they charge up to 50$ a month and there are almost no graphics at all.

Touche.  Those that are sheep to big company developers and publishers are probably more prone to be cautious, but at the same time are probably more prone to have little brain bandwidth to understanding the dedication of indie to smaller studios that are just as dedicated and have more to lose by disregarding any outlet of communication and remaining visible and in-touch; CCP, Aventurine, Icarus, Star Vault, Xsyon.

I suspect this is more like Dark & Light was a few years ago.

They had a great concept and had a huge fan base. They took pre-orders and beta tested, then when the game was released it sucked. It was barely playable and people wanted their money back. I don't think many people got it, if any.

It wasnt really vaporware, but it did not do what they said it would either.

I think you're probably right.  That's my guess as to why the devs refuse to make in-game videos or post new screenshots with the UI or anything.

Thusfar this game is no more than a list of features, some art work and screen shots, and a webforum run by volunteers. I would say the game is far from ready and I am guessing that pre-lude will be a game that only contains the raw basics that an mmo needs to be playable and is awaiting further expansions it will need to be somewhat attractive to a larger audience. At least that is the message I get from the information they are giving on their website and forum. They are not saying it but that seems to be the reason why they want to keep a low profile. You should only pre-order or buy the game at launch when you want to support this game that needs some more time to become what you hope it can become. In other words, when you are willing to run the risk of playing a paid beta test.

That is nice, but still, with all the features of the feature list done and in the game there is still no way to be sure whether the launched product is a full featured mmo, because the feature list mainly shows what sets Xsyon apart from other mmo's. To take it to the extreme: when everyting not on the feature list will not be in the game either you would end up with a horrible mmo. Of course it will not be that extreme, but those not willing to take the risk are waiting to see what will become of this game.

Because it is scam? Ive never seen another game which was released or in development where you had less proves that it actually exist.

To make a video of about 5 mins takes about 5 mins? And dont come they have to focus on development.  Its just a cheap excuse. Dont say there is no one who got 5 mins to make a video?
