In other games I have tried all kinds of classes, but usual at first blush of a new game I am drawn to casters. The inquisiter sounds to me like a caster/healer hybrid, so it should give me the best of two worlds in that healers are always needed and the dps of a mage-like caster never hurts. The trooper though... now i can see this being serious fun for me (not the enemy lol) If I am not out of date, the trooper is essentially a heavy weapons specialist with sniping added on. Always loved snipers heheheh. ______________ Mark E. Cooper |

Seems to me there more of a heavy weapons devastator role. Hopefully they allow you to either go for the accurate, one target dps sniper, or debuffer, would be interesting as a combo. Or, heavy weapons, support, hits many targets but for less damage. I'm really looking forward to how it plays. Longing for Skyrim, The Old Republic and Mass Effect 3 |

1st Class: Imperial Agent. 2nd Class: Smuggler. 3rd Class: Sith Warrior. 4th Class: Bounty Hunter. 5th Class: Trooper. 6th Class: Jedi Knight. 7th Class: Inquisitor. 8th Class: Yeah. That one. Bleh. DISCLAIMER: I'm a nerd. You should not attempt to play as much as me if you value your life. I'm a walking fantasy, thus I live in one to escape my own mystical reality. THE Rooster Nash |

Trooper first. Bounty Hunter second. Possibly a Sith of some sort later. I dunno, I grew up in an age where only three people carried sabres and one of them was dead. An era filled with smugglers, soldiers, bounty hunters and starships. I like the jedi/Sith bits and lightsabres and the Force in general, but I'm a grown up now and kindof over it. Ah, nostalgia. Remember when Darth Vader was the baddest villain in the galaxy?

The point being starting as a Jedi sucks ass and makes Jedi like a truck stop hooker. period. We are all investers when we buy a game, voting with our wallet. ^^

1) Sith Inquisitor: Why? Just intrigued by its ranged attacks (as seen in preliminary information) and 'healing' aspects. 2) Bounty Hunter: Why? Because I'm interested in the storyline this class might have to offer even though Boba Fett's influence in the genre appears hundreds of years later. |

I figure on playing a Jedi Consular, mostly because I prefer support classes in MMOs. Not fast paced enough action usually for my brain to engage enough to make fighting classes interesting. Save that for shooters. My best option would be to combine support role with combat, so maybe smuggler depending how they play as sneaks.
Haven't even considered who I'd play on Sith side. Pretty sure there will be enough chaotic nutters all ready on that side that they won't miss me. As the size of an explosion increases, the number of social situations it is incapable of solving approaches zero. - Vaarsuvius |

i prefer playing support classes so I'll probably wind up playing a consular, but both smuggler and bounty hunter have their appeal... I'm sure I'll give a few classes a try before settling on a main ![]() Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience. |

Same. I die when I play a nuke cause I always end up running in when I'm not supposed to. I'll play the tankiest tank class they have, and roll a healer as an alt. One reason I didn't like WAR. The best tank on the good side was a dwarf, and I dont' like playing short characters. |

Jedi Knight, because I normally play melee classes.... and because they are jedi of course. |
