I honestly will never try Everquest 2. I'll just see every character and think some 400 pound gorilla is sitting on the other side of that character....pepporini sliding down his face...oily fingers slapping away at the keyboard saying "Omg, my armor is the r0xx0rz"

can't blaim sony tho, it's a good marketing ploy.  they are just a bunch of money grubbing fools... i mean every expansion for their original product you have to pay full msrp for until the next great expansion comes out. or until they woop out the ole Platinum edition...

in EQ2, they have in-game content that you can only get if you pay the extra $4.99 to get it, in the coming months.  it's sad but true...

i can't blaim them for wanting money.. it's only american to want such.  but it's just getting sad the way they are going about it.  they are only giving out peanuts and people are paying for it like it was caviar.

I mean they could poop in a bag and put the EQ label on it and people will buy it.. it shows ;p

I personally don't have a problem at all with the whole /pizza thing and I think most of you are blowing it WAY out of proportion:

Mainly because I hate phones, hate talking on them, particularily to place an order or something. Then you're putting it in the hands of some incompetent fast-food working mindless idiot to understand everything you say you want, manage to write down the order right AND manage to communicate said order to the cook or whatever.

I do just about everything I can online, pay bills, communicate with friends, etc. If I can do anything online to avoid phone calls or going somewhere I'm all for it. And in particular if I can submit my own order by using menus and such myself, GREAT! I personally love the new little "Order it Yourself" booth/machines at McDonalds. You basically have the same touchscreen system that the people behind the counter do but you get to do it yourself, you place the order, pay with your CC and the order goes directly back to the cooks, thereby taking out one mindless idiot middleman.

So you can type a command ingame and bring up a pizza ordering website from Pizza Hut, big deal, I've been ordering my pizza online for quite a while now. All this does is instead of hitting alt-tab and going to the website myself I just type in the /pizza command.

If you don't like it, don't use it, big deal, hell I wish there was a chinese food place that I could place delivery orders via the web around here. :P
