Introduction

You are bored of the boring 'Click.. > Watch how your character boringly attacks > Get a bit loot and exp' type of games? They are almost always plain grinding. I understand. I'm bored of it too.
I decided to set up a list of games with some special type of gameplay so you can really play a game.
Every game below contains some other type of gameplay. There is a very big change you need skill for it.

 Why I like this type of games

They offer something else. Most games depend on the level you are, with ability's you train (atk, str, def, hp etc.), skills you use.... - that's the decider of how 'good' you are in beating a monster.
The list is showing you games where you can even beat higher level monsters if you have a skill.
Sample:
Most games use the keyboard if you are in the game itself. Then you'll have to use, for example, the key 'A' to swing your sword, 'S' to charge it for a power attack, arrow keys to walk, double tap them to dash etc. They let you able to dodge enemy's if you run and attack at the right method.

~ Dragonica [Website]

First 3D sidescroller with different attack's to do. Jump, dash and swing to beat your enemy's! Includes personal housing.

↓ Maplestory [Website]

Plain 2D sidescroller with is for younger people (in my opinion). I recommend you to try it, it's worth it.

↑ Lunia [Website]

A 2D map combined with 3D characters and monsters. The game is based on six different chapters, each with 10 different stages (1 middle-boss, 1 boss). You can enter a stage in solo or in party. It's even possible to beat a stage where 20 levels higher is recommend. Too bad there are connection problems lately.

Korean languaged

Seems to be a great, orginal mmorpg. At the moment only in Korean language, but it seems to come out in NA this year.

Street basketball game. Player versus Player game-type.

Racing mmorpg. This time not in cars but just by foot. PvP and Single Player modus. Contains player farming on an island, where you can even gain Exp.

x Trackmania Nations Forever [Website]
A racing game without items and stuff. Great single and multiplayer/online modus. The game is translated in many different languages. Almost everything is customizable. From your own car skin to even custom modeled cars. From your own racing track (Could be very advanced, including a lot of trackbuilding effects) to track texture modifications. It's very fun to see yourself ranked in three different lists: Your region, your coMust try, especially for the creative people.

~ Ace Online [Website]
Space flying game. You're able to leave your plane, accept missions and stuff. You have a primary- and secundary weapon. You really have to aim and fire, instead that the computer will do the work for you.

? Continent of the Ninth [Website]
Korean languaged
An orginal, 3D fighting mmorpg where you need skills for. Swing your sword, jump and dodge to your victory.

? Rumble Fighter [Website]
Full Player versus Player based on punching each other down. It's a very fast paced game and you'll need skills for it to dodge everyone.

? GoGo Racer [Website]
Mario-Kart like racing game containing items. Cartoony' graphics, 'funny' sounds and big heads are running the game.

? LinkRealms [Website]
Very orginal sandbox mmorpg where combat isn't everything.

 Suggestions for the list

I don't know very much games, if you know one, post it in the thread and I'll review it (and add it ;)). Also if you know what must be on the question marks (?), post it ;).

If you are seriously into making such a list you should write more about that unique features. Making list of "unique games" and then as their unique feature writing something like "unique gameplay" just don't provide much information.

For your information on more different games (and things you should write about more):
Ryzom (character development,crafting, gathering) , Wurm (crafting, changing world), A tale in the desert (politics, crafting), EVE (economics, politics), Darkfall (politics, friendly fire, no auto aim)

That's short list of sandboxes. Some are point & click but are totally different from current mmorpg trends. Check them out if you are serious on that list.

 Hmz, I've to agree that it's now too simple :P. I'll think about it ;).

 I already have a list of games that provide something new. What more do you need? Lol.

Yeah, I like the idea of a list of unique gameplay MMOs that isn't filtered by some arbitrary personal bias.
