I wish to have no connection with any ship that does not sail fast for I intend to go in harm's way. |

I Would say EVE. Played both and GW may have the players but I haven't seem dev support outside of a couple events here and there. EVE has better support and the game boasts a lot more features. GW has has clan battles but nothing as epic as hundred of ships going at it in a corp war. However, EVE has a steeper learning curve than GW. "If at first you don't succeed, excessive force is probably the answer."

Kinda comparing apples to oranges here, as both games are very, very different. So, since they both have free trials, you could, i dunno, try them out, see for yourself? Me, I say play both, since EvE has a sub, and GW does not. |

I have tried both but never compete in PvP ... I just donno how many time takes EvE and GW for to get fun, because I dont have too many free time |

EVE's learning curve is too steep for that of the typical gaming population these days.
Guild Wars is oftenly disregarded, however; it is a completely under rated game. It's beautiful and I always find myself loving the leveling. |

Both games are really quite fun with limited time. GW you can level so fast and really enjoy end game. EVE you can level off line and become competetive even with little online time. I sorta have to go with EVE on this. The 'content' in EVE is mostly corporation run. I rarely do anything that is not some how related to my corp. GW I did some Guild PvP but mostly it was pickup groups. Also, i consider this part of community, there are rarely if ever gold sellers in EVE. On the other hand, in EVE it is totally acceptable to be a scammer, and people loot you just to be an a$$. PVP is more interesting in EVE to me. Dominion patch apparently has made it more accessible for small corps. (I dk personally, we've been wormhole exploring and getting our industry up). On the other hand, PvP is way more balanced in GW with the instancing. "Never met a pack of humans that were any different. Look at the idiots that get elected every couple of years. You really consider those guys more mature than us? The only difference between us and them is, when they gank some noobs and take their stuff, the noobs actually die." - Madimorga |

Both games are really good. I am currently playing Eve, but that is mostly because I played through most of what Guild Wars has to offer. If I were to recommend one over the other, I would recommend Guild Wars as I enjoyed that more. But like I said both games are awesome in there own ways. Tried: LotR, CoH, AoC, WAR, Jumpgate Classic |

They are very different games, I am curious what made you wanna compare these two titles. Now to answer your question.. I have played both for over a year and I ended up leaving Guild Wars. I still play and love EVE. It grows so much every year and the community is amazing. Guild Wars 2 will be coming out and replacing Guild Wars in the near future (it is time for a refresh anyways). The one thing you must know about EVE is that it has a very slow start. When you first start out your skills are very limited and takes a bit to build them up, Skills train in real time. With that being said, the more time you put into it the faster you will advance in other areas and your overall game experience will be better. |

I would have to go with Eve, i have played guildwars, but i found the game of limited interest, fun for a while, but... not long term by any means, Eve probably takes quite a bit longer to get into - learning curve and finding a decent corp that matches your play style etc, but Eve for me at least, has longevity, its the only game i've ever played that kept me interested long term.... |

If you have less time on your hands than you can accomplish things faster in Guild Wars than you can in EvE. |

the only things that disturb me in eve are monotous quests and red mark as an enemy... =) |

Maybe if I'm going to have my Xfire profile up, I should start using Xfire... |

EvE - sandbox game in space that has a huge "one community, one world" thing going for it. Not solo friendly at all and has a huge learning curve. GW - a linear game heavily based on story that has other things going for it. Very solo friendly with no learning curve other than getting used to the high amount of instancing. |
