I think you would like DDO, i have been through a ton of MMOs and consider it an OUTSTANDING MMO. if you want somethin a little more shooter ish but all instances in a manner of speaking, try global agenda, both of these games have p2p as an OPTION not mandate, and are a riot and great compliment to a p2p mmo. best of luck man! feel free to PM me I have just recently returned to the forums :D |

No offense but DDO fails on a few of the OP's requested needs. It has no open world PVP and no Open world anything. Its completely instanced. Its a great F2P game though and its rather slow in the leveling as well. Allods fits and it goes into Open Beta on the 16th. The end game is based around traveling astral space on player owned ships with plenty of options to pirate other players or go after raid areas. There is however no word on the different rule sets for servers yet so its possible that the PVP may not start until end game where astral is but if they do have rule sets the pvp set would likely include the Holy Lands which is FFA faction based PvEvPvP area starting around lvl 20. The cap is currently lvl 40. The community is fairly nice but like any community there's going to be A hats there's also a combat sport called Goblin Ball which is you can play against your own faction or against the other faction (an instanced violent football style game).
