Yeah even since I've seen that Alpha footage of the boss fight many months ago, I've been pretty excited about this one.  I hope Blue Studios delivers.

i am looking forward to the game some what, mostly due to the targeting system i seen in videos with teh cross hairs rather than a tab targetting. cross hair style games i tend to like more than teh tab target, gives the game more of a challenge by far. because if i miss i know i missed because i actually MISSED withe the cross hairs and not some random generated number telling me its time to miss.

But it seems an apt description. I just stumbled across some vids for this game and was blown away. At least for me, this game ticks ALL of my boxes: FPS, pvp, subscription, and a bit sandboxy. And they've some non-standard races (I just LOVE that) and it looks like they've some interesting spells too.

Join the forums and communicate with BLUEHOLE. They are really dedicated in bringing a next generation experience with T.E.R.A., and are in constant contact with the western player base. They post regularly about updates they have made based off player feedback, and hold discussions every two weeks on specific subjects.

The game apparently will not feature any of the grind typically found in most eastern games. They even adjusted leveling speed during FGT (Focused Group Testing), in order to speed up the process even more, and will continue to listen to player concerns and apply them to the development of the game.

In other news, I dont think L2 is a bad game because t's korean.  In fact i think if there was a new server launched free of bots and with, maybe a bit of an xp gain boost, it'd be a good game. 

I like the castle sieges and the branching class trees.  It's not perfect but hey.

the reason it's a waste of money is because there are so many bots and gold sellers&buyers.

so the koreans to blame for  L2 arent the korean devs, it's the korean (and american, etc) players that cheat.

Now if you want to say that the korean devs are known for turning the other way regarding bots and farmers, then i guess i would have to agree with you.  Because I dont see 1/10 as many botters, farmers, etc in WoW, and i havent seen macrominers in eve in at least a couple years.

but the game as the publisher made it is pretty good... if the L2 makers are making this game i'll certainly keep my eye on it.

Uh, we all know people said the same thing about Aion, and Aion has absolutely no grind. Also, it's bot-free, runs like a baby's bottom, has the best PvE, PvP and PvPvE ever, and also has girls with nice boobies. TERA will be the same, except even better. We're entering a new golden age of Korean MMOs being awesome in the West, too!

 No grind are you kidding me? At level 23-24 in Aion you run out of quests and all you can do is grind monsters to level. Up until then it was fine, plenty of quests etc.
