According to the newsletter, until December 31st, the game price will be reduced for Digital Download and Boxed copies.

Also, they are implementing a patch this coming monday December 21st, that will fix a majority of the problems we are experiencing.

I ask you now, sandbox lovers, please support Star Vault.   They are going in the right direction.  If everything works out, and the funding is there, we will see a game that will be like-no-other.   So, if you want that game.  If you need that game.  It will not cost you much, please. .   I beg you, give them your money.

Well nobody should be expecting a tripple A from this, Just something half broken and different. Which is fine for alot of people. I could probably enjoy MO half broken more than WoW at this point.

I was thinking more of Dark & Light than World of Warcraft.  "This is not the real game you're playing. This is a prequel..."

If you realy want to help you should buy it after the discounts so SV gets more money...

Actually you are totally correct, Deceit-n-Lie was more polished then this "game" at the same point in time and it was a total and abject failure before and after launch.

Again,
SV is nothing like NPCube, Farland, or whatever the bunch of monkeys involved in that game.  Mortal Online is nothing like DnL

LOL go for it guys.

I'm not touching this bastard with a ten foot pole until its been offcially released for 6-12 months to iron out bugs and add missing features.

As a old sandbox vet I know better than to stat a new sandbox game on day 1.

 So whats it discounted to? Is it actually only 50 dollars now? I will wait on this one for some time maybe in a year will revisit.

Lol Isn't that the thruth. The only positive thing that can come from this game is that it should be discontinued. People who put any faith into this game are only going to disappoint them selves & waste your money.

I said it again and will say it now, Don't waste your money on this game. Darkfall is 500% times better and was way ahead of it at release and we know how Darkfall struggled a little. You will be waiting a minimum of a year, for Mortal Online to catch up. Dont get me wrong, I am not promoting Darkfall, but this game has nothing better to offer and only less.

I think at this point, so close to release -- it's best to wait for the open beta and what reviews come from it.

Unless you have a reason to be vested to StarVault and "help them succeed", I think that's the smartest avenue. I won't even give you my take on the game, you'll get plenty from open beta.

SV is on life support, its obvious they need the cash to continue development.

If you are a fan and think its worth the investment go for it, but its not something I'm willing to pursue.

See? There really is a Santa Claus. But all jokes aside,  I just sold my firstborn, and his firstborn and will be preordering as many as I can. Those buying one copy arent hardcore, they are carebears.

50 bucks is still pushing it for a game that might not be released for another few months.

 If I were to buy it, I would wait for the response to the Dec. 21st patch.  I may buy this when it is completely finished, only.
