I've played most of the mmo's out on the market right now and they are all pretty fucking boring. I'm tired of elves and faggy dwarves. Is this even worth playing? There seems to be a lot of mixed reviews. |

You're just gonna get another stream of mixed responses and you will be none the wiser. No-one can tell you what you will enjoy. You just have play it and find out for yourself. I'm sure you can get a trial key from somewhere to avoid the risk of wasting money. |

Yeah. I like most people fell in love with old swg and I have been having a craving for something non fantasy based. I was just hoping people would give me direct responses so i dont have to did around and pull bits and pieces. |

Some people like it, some don't. For me, it wasn't particularly grand. If you can find a trial key, I say go for it. But I wouldn't recommend dropping $50 for a box until you've played it. |

Seems fair. It looks fairly neat but I'm sure I will be over it in a week or two. I'll try to find a trial key. Anyone have anything positive to say about it? |

The escapist was running a trial key offer about a week ago but I'm not sure if they have keys left. The post for it is still on the front page here.
Just and FYI, you can't even scratch the surface of this game in a "week or two" without playing 24/7 for that week or two. Einherjar_LC says: WTB the true successor to UO or Asheron's Call pst! |

.....and there ya go. I love it. I hate it. Its fun. Its not fun. The quests are interesting. The quests are not interesting. The graphics are great. The graphics are poor. It runs really well on my machine. It runs really poorly on my machine. I get high fps. I get low fps. The crafting is deep and complex. The crafting is simplistic and dull. Etc etc etc You've read the reviews. You've read peoples comments. There are an endless number of threads to read through that are all identical to this one.......and yet you want to start a new one where all the same people can retype everything they've already said simply because you cant be bothered to click on another link? Everything you could possibly want to know is already available in these forums and on the games main website. There is nothing else anyone can tell you about it. This is just a hunch but I would say that you probably wont enjoy Fallen Earth. It's a slow paced game that doesnt tell you precisely where to go and what to do. If you dont have the patience to read what other people have already typed then I expect you will lack the patience to stick with the game. Then again I dont know you so I could be wrong. Thats the whole point. Not meaning to sound rude by the way, but really no-one can think for you or tell you if you will enjoy the game. You have to think for yourself and form your own opinion. |

If you like a game to challenge your own mind and demanding you to do some research and love the freedom of open character progression and a huge world where crafting is an essential part of the gameplay and where you will find mutated prairie chickens and zombies rather than goblins and dwarves and prefer a mature community over a 1337 one, FE might just be the game for you :)
p.s. first game which managed to keep my interest to nearly the level cap and still got me totally hooked since I played WoW years ago. In WAR, GW, AoC and Lotro I lost interest before that due to various reasons (as well as EVE, where I seem to quit after around three months max each time). FE is the first game that gave me that 'Damn, I'm in love with this game' feeling which I got wile playing my first mmorpgs. I had a little dip around the end of sector 1 but after that the game just became better and better for me. *temporarily sigless* |

I started playing last night and I can see the potential in this game. I like the way the world is set up and I'm getting used to the goofy ass first person third person NGEesque targeting system. Anyone have a guild I could join up with haha? |

I just have to stumble through it all until I get a hang of it. |

I think it's definitely worth trying out, especially if you are sick of the fantasy genre. Whether or not it holds your interest depends on what type of player you are. |

I think its worth trying out this game. I personally got tired of the fantasy "elves" themes, and grinding gear after gear. Its diferent, just dont expect to spend two weeks in the game and expected to know it and see it all. |
