I think some folks just scour MMO News and Information just so they can look for an excuse, ANY EXCUSE... to be able to apply the "super cool" word "fail" to it. So that they can be "super cool" like everyone else who says "fail" about something. I miss 2007 when people didn't say "fail" about everything. |

Am I missing something? Because this doesn't sound THAT bad. Not that I would ever use the "epic fail" tag, as it is played out, and just plain lame, but really? You think this is the worst of all time? When did you start playing MMO's, and how many have you tried? |

that's hardly a huge fail, plenty of better ones in the past 5 or so years. MMO wish list: -Changeable worlds |

Ya really. You'd think people would want be a little more original. Everything on the net these days involves "fail", "epic", "this", "QFT', and list goes on. It's like the people in real life that still use the cliche "at the end of the day". The translation to this is "hey everybody listen, I'm about to utter something profound". Let it go, it's incredibly tedious to have to listen to 10 people everyday using the same cliche. Mini rant over. "My fighting style is kneeing people's face" -Wanderlei Silva |

Even if they got a whole corp together to reproduce it in an attempt to mess things up, I don't think it would make a major dent. And, they would need to spread out to make an impact, or else it would just be localized outages. Now, yes, a busted Jita would be annoying, but look back last year, and Jita was basically unusable anyway. Besides, no corp with a good size would risk perma bans for something so dumb. |

Originally posted by Styij So, what game do you play? No matter which one, I'm pretty sure I'd be able to create a troll thread like this because of one flaw people know and hasn't been fixed yet. If this isn't the case please tell me which game you play, because we're talking about a flawless coded MMO, a jewel even more precious and harder to find than the so-called legendary MMO-to-rule-them-all everyone talks about and troll every new game because it wasn't The One, because even if that thing came to exist, it should contain bugs and glitches. It might not even contain 3 dev team responses in the same thread showing their support. Don't worry though, EVE has been growing continuously since release, both in quality and quantity of content. |

You can tell when people are new to the MMO genre in the past couple years, because they have this sense of entitlement, as if everything has to go perfectly just as they want it to. People don't remember the days in the first big three when patch day would come. It was flat out deemed DANGEROUS to play after a big patch. Crashes could happen, there was instability. Lag, from everyone downloading and trying to play the new content at the same time. People EXPECTED it. There could even be *GASP* rollbacks! God forbid a rollback ever happen in an MMO today.. the players would simply revolt! Since when do people get angry if there is a small hiccup in the game they play? If their server goes down, even once, over the course of a month, they freak out and go cry about it on forums, telling everyone about how UNSTABLE things are. If there is a glitch in a new patch, they go cry about it on the forums saying how they feel a company doesn't care about them or that the company let a 'crappy' product go live. People don't realize that developing new content for games is not easy. The content has to be tested internally first, and then tested externally. If problems don't arise then, it gets released. Given the time windows that these companies are given to work with usually, there is not a lot of time to do ALL the testing that might be required in order to weed out every single little bug. That's not even considering the sheer amount of conditions it might take to recreate a problem. From hardware configurations, to software interfering with things, all the way up to user input creating issues. When you are capable of releasing a product to 300,000 (or millions, in other cases) people, with little to no issues, then do so. Until then, let them do their jobs without having to cater to your misplaced sense of entitlement. |

CCP fan boi trolls stop posting off topic crap in my thread. Like anyone cares how over used fail and noob are. You wnat to talk about over used word theory go start your own troll thread. This is about CCP knowing about a huge problem with the core of their expansion, people telling them it was broken then rolling it out anyway. Also, knowing they could do it because if anyone pointed it out then fools would start trolling about stuff like over used words. |

Yes, because they are the first MMO company to do anything remotely like this... Right? And yeah, it is a HUGE gamebreaker, worth leaving the game for, right? Get real. And, while we are at it. Fanboy, or, even worse fanboi, are also played out. As is troll. Also, it is not a "theory" that they are lame and overused. It is a proven fact. |
