Can u dual wield in this game, and if so with what weapon types? |

Not really. All daggers are used in two hands though. You equip and get a dagger in each. As far as melee you have 2h sword/axe/club or polearm, 1h sword/axe/club, and daggers. |

I think DF is less about concept and more about playing. If you enjoy what it offers, you might really like it. However, I wouldn't suggest joining any game based on what weapon combos they have available. That just a poor representation of what the game is about. |

wow u are either really dumb or live far to serious of a life i was only askin cuz i love to dual wield but wether i could or not had no bearing on how much i do or don't wanna try the game out |

Ok i'll answer your question since it still has not been really answered.For melee combat in DF you can not use differents weapons at the same time ,daggers are duel weild but very short ranged.Most weapons are great weapons like 2 handed swords or polearms and the 1 handed weapons can all be used with a sheild.Also since there no limit on what skills you can obtain you can choose to pick up a few melee weapons and use the how you see fit ( i do 1 handed sword and 2 handed sword).But you can't carry a 1 handed sword in one hand and a 1 handed club in the other. |

I think people would have taken you a little more seriously if you took five seconds to make your post the least bit easier to read, but I must be a stickler for not wanting to read through people's unfiltered thoughts. |

Question 1: Yes, you equip daggers. A dagger goes in each hand and they attack fast. To the OP: You should seek help. Question 2: The population is decent as far as I've seen. It is very seldom I find myself with out someone around. However, I can travel for a few mins to a barren area and luckily find myself alone to gather resources. To the OP: Start with something cheep like meditation and if that doesn't work, you might need to find a counselor. |
