  What you have to keep in mind here is that they might not actually be banning anything. This could be just PR spin to retain current subscribers.

 

Right.  This is the real issue.  They are releasing a lot of PR, but they were saying good things about banning bots during the first month as well.  However, I saw no action that actually supported their PR releases.

For now this is all just a bunch of numbers that I care nothing about.  What I need is to see video of typical bost-infested areas, taken over the course of a few days, that's NOT taken by anyone who is working with NC Soft.  The bottom line is that I simply don't trust them.

I spent so-called "closed beta" and head start dealing with the bots (and reporting them).  I reported bots in Live (a number of which were the same bots from head start) every day for the first week until my ability to submit petitions mysteriously broke (the support ticket for which was "elevated to a senior GM" and then flatly ignored up to the point that I canceled my account). I saw the same bots that I reported every fracking day continue wide out in the open, ostensibly 24hrs a day, flat out ignored by NC Soft all while NC posted anti-bot PR on the web.

If NC Soft wants my money again they will apologize to me for... ahem... losing my support ticket and then they'll SHOW me that there's actual substance behind their words.  Otherwise they can stuff their empty PR straight up their turkey.

Most of you sucks you know? If they don't ban the bots you are like "OMG THEY DO NOTHING!@!@, I QUIT!@!*****!*@"

If they start banning bots you are like "HM, NO THIS IS JUST PR...." or " THEY WILL EARN MORE MONEY FROM BOTS IF THEY BAn THEM!@!(*@!" or "THIS IS FISHY, PLOX SHOW PROVES" or "(insert here)". But anyway, so you know and as someone has already said , i'd say like 70% from bots are using stolen cc and are "owned" by the gold seller sites. So those bans are good in the long run even if they lose a little money, BUT not as someone said like 1+ mil.

mmorpg has the most : trolls,haters,mind readers, future seekers,"Gods",ANALysts, QQers .. you name it :) from all the MMO sites over the internet.

But in the end you will end up being what you want. Most of us who like Aion will keep playing it, while you will end up like "oh well, what should I do for the next few hours, as I have nothing to play because I QQ alot"

After the last maintenance telemachus is 95% bot free , they simply banned them all.

To know if a company keeps promises , well i guess u have to play the game.

Aion is moving forward , ncsoft released INGAME FOOTAGE of future expansions not walls of text .

I say good job Ncsoft give us the real stuff .

Their actions have been effective.

Notification: Is my observation wrong, or is the "Chinese Goldseller Botters" really just a phrase because to me it looks like most botters are actually from NA?

 EDIT: In that removed thread was a poster I think was golden. He/she was planning to subpoena NCSoft because of the ban he/she received from botting. Can someone be much more arrogant?

And you know all of them are bots by? yeah sure there can be some of them bots but in your video all you did was gliding not even trying to talk to them or even try inviting them to see if they are bots or no.

You think there's any game without bots? yeah sure..
