Being that I am trying to finish Dragon Age right now...I miss Orcs...

which MMO has the best Orcs as a playable race? 

 I don't really know. I don't play a lot of games with orcs as a playable race but I've heard good things about Allods, though the orcs are similar in style to WoW's orcs.

Not that it's a fantastic MMO, but the Orcs in that game are awesome.

They do have an endless free trial now, you could make an SH and move him through tier one, deck him out, and PvP/PvE to your hearts content.

 I must admit, the most memorable Orcs were from WAR. Their starting zone was bloody brilliant and engaging.

Warhammer, hands down. Love the look of Orcs in WAR and I miss the starting area. Wish they didn't do away with the starting zones; not a fan of one zone per side.

Unfortunately, the DF orcs both suck and blow and someone peed in the sandbox.

I like WAR orcs,  probably best orcs, too bad the game is blah.

Allods Orcs are pretty damn cool, the game is okay so far.

I like WoW orcs... perhaps not the best design and I know "OH GOD A PRO WoW COMMENT"... but hey orcs get a lot of love in WoW and not so much in other games. (Plus, I don't give a crap what people say about WoW somebody is playing it, at least I admit it.)

My personal opinion is Lineage 2.

Wait, don't run out of the room, hear me out!!!!

I don't really like the idea of orcs being the dumb sloppy race that other games make them out to be.

Lineage 2 has cast them more like klingons. Proud, fierce, and impressive looking warriors who worship a god of fire.

It is the only game where I actually tried an orc race.

I liked both WAR and Lineage2 orcs, every other game orcs just felt like a green human with big muscles.

Lineage 2.

As melee u could be Titan = 2handed sword with lots of enrrages to smashing blows

or Gran Kavatari dealing huge damage at light speen with fists with good defence and health

of by mistic u could be overlord doing lots of debufs on enemies and buffing u WHOLE ALLIANCE or warcryer with partybuffs.

i dint like others orc thought, as they MUST be mindless beasts, lineage bring they to a more cultural aproach.

Not sure about EverQuest 2, but Orcs were not a playable race in EverQuest 1 .. You could shroud as one, after levelling up another shroud I believe.. But it's not a playable race (or wasn't anyway).  I remember way back when, they did a poll on what players would like as the next playable race.   I chose Orc.. But apparently many people voted Froglok.  Anyway..

My vote for the OP is Vanguard.

I would agree except that I played the Warhammer RPG for many years and I think that WAR could have done so much more with the orcs, they should have been their own factions (with some backup by other greenskins).
 

In a pen and paper game is the Warhammer orcs by far the best race even though you are not really suppose to play them there and in tabletops they totally rule.

Now I have to vote Vanguard but if you never played any other warhammer products you will like WARs orcs.

My problem with WAR is that I can't see what is in the game, I can only see all the cool stuff that isn't in. WAR could have been so much more, I wish Bioware owned that license instead of Mythic that should have made DAoC 2 instead.

Edit: Because I don't want to post a post just for this: Acid is right, you can't play orcs in EQ2, just trolls and ogres. I played it for 2 years and does hopefully know that. They might add them in a future expansion of course.

I must agree that WAR has the most awesome orc models of any game.

I never usually play an Orc, but they were my favourite type of player to bash. :)

The one time I did play an Orc ws the Squig Herder in WAR, they did do a good job of the Orc race I must say.

warhammer orcs are too cartoony.   i am gonna say darkfall orcs
