OK i was going to post this on the Asheron's Call board on Turbines official boards but apparently you have to have an active game subscription in order to post on their boards there so i figured i would post this here and whenver somebody actually comes along they may read it.....or not considering not many actually visit this games board.

What i was thinking was a cool way to get new subscribers to the original Asheron's call is to offer 1 server that runs the Asheron's Call 2 game.  It would be a cool bonus to subscribing to AC1.  Not only would you get to play Asheron's Call 1, but you could also play the second game as well!  This would not only get new blood into the original game but would also make so many of us that miss the second game happy as well.  Also Turbine would get more subscriptions sold!

I'd go for that; so long as, at least a few people were assigned to keep AC2 occasionally updated and stamp out bugs.

AC2 was cool for the most part when I tested it.

AC NEVER was....I could care less what people tried to say was good about it. It looked terrible and played the same to me. Fine for those who loved it. But stop trying to tell me how good it was for YOU....

Cynical? Me? Never.

I'd play AC if they could get the graphics to, at least, EQs level. Also, the constant rubber banding would need to be fixed. These two issues always stopped me from subscribing long term. I do love AC, though. Just not the constant rubber banding and horrid graphics.

Keep in mind I haven't played for a very, very long time.

Even tho i would love seeing AC2 back again it will never happen firstly ac1 players hate AC2 and turbine screwed AC2 FANS and shut it down they never will reopen a AC2 server again believe.

Just hope and see one day a maybe some guys manage to make emuac2 thats all we can hope for.

Actually Turbine screwed AC1 fans by making AC2.

That attitude tells me more about AC1 fanboys than it does about the game, AC2. They were a sad bunch of people when AC2 was released and, amazingly, still is.

As for the OP: Yes I offcourse I would resub to AC1 to play AC2. But then again, I also resubs to play AC1 from time to time :)

You'd be surprised to know then that Turbine specifically admit their mistake in making a sequel to an existing game, as it only competed with their own player base.

Turbine's argument holds no merit.  EQ,EQ2...Lineage,Lineage2  etc...

Turbine should launch 2 AC2 servers, pvp and pve, offering a station pass for both games, if not a pass for all their games.

AC2..Greatest game ever to be closed. They did it dirty.

I would find the first person that replied to me and make them my guild owner w/ 4 bank slot and all the crap I have managed to packrat in it. along with the  8k gold I have. I would also delete every 80 and above 60 toon that I have to have my AC2 back again. Hell even a solo game would be a nice start or suffice for me.

How many delicate flowers have you met in Counterstrike?

I'm not your friend.

I got a case of beer and a chainsaw waiting for me at home after work.
