I'm glad to see this child is able to think for himself instead of becoming another blind patriot.

i hope this child suffers the full punishment of the law there is no sense in any child refusing to pledge their allegiance in support of their government

He is not thinking for himself. He was simply brainwashed with a differing ideology most likely from his parents.

I know! He should be removed from his parents, put in child protective services, and re-conditioned therapudically.

Quite an immature response.

My point was that no child thinks for himself. Children base their "values" upon their parents teachings.

You're right! This kids parents need to start bringing him to a nice church. He needs Jesus in his life to fully understand our pledge!

It's his right not to stand good for him. It's also my right to make sure my kid doesn't hangout with him and to distance my family from his.

Religious people most of them want you to have the Freedom to live your life as you want to live it.

seeing this is the way God wanted it. Free will and all.

Just because I am single and a heterosexual i am discriminated against,
because I do not get the benefits and protections of married people.

Who are you to tell us we are discriminating against you?
When you have the same Freedoms of a single straight Man. he can not marry another man.

Why do we give benefits to anyone anymore.
(it was because the man provided for his wife)
But now the woman also works.
Either take away the tax benefits from married people.
Or give them to all people, Married or single.
This will fix the problem of Benefits.

Marriage is not a title.
Marriage is a public accepted union.
This is why they ask if anyone here knows any reason why the 2 should not be married speak now.
In asking for us to accept your union you are getting our answer.

Asking Religious people to accept Homosexual marriage is asking them to Pay for something that is wrong and is against most religions and forces the Religious person to Disrespect their God and Religion.
This is a violation of there 1st amendment rights.

Religious people most of them want you to have the Freedom to live your life as you want to live it.
They just do not want to support you in how you live your life, when they believe it is the wrong way.

The kid says he wants to be a lawyer.  I think that tells us all we need to know. :)

The issue here is that religious people do still demand everybody to support them.
The religious in the US are not just speaking up, they actually go out of their way to ban the marriage.

By the way, if you actually check who is on the forefront of taking personal freedom away, you'll find it's the religious.

Either support every marriage, or support no marriage. Right now, the religious only want support for their marriage.

Also Zindaihas, what is wrong with wanting to become a lawyer?

When you have the same Freedoms of a single straight Man. he can not marry another man.  Well, no crap!  Single people are single.... what a concept and still has absolutely nothing to do with this discussion of marriage.  Yet, if a single man wants to marry a single woman, that's alright.  But a single man cannot choose to marry another single man in many states.  Looks to me like there's a big discrepancy there.

This is a violation of there 1st amendment rights.  No, it is not, because States can issue marriage licenses as well.  And, some churches have actually gone against the brainwashing of their own sects in thinking "homosexuals are evil" and began to understand that the brainwashing was just pure BS.

Religious people most of them want you to have the Freedom to live your life as you want to live it.  Still more lulz here.  See my reply at the top.
They just do not want to support you in how you live your life, when they believe it is the wrong way.  Contradiction here then.  If they "want you to have the Freedom to live your life as you want" then they shouldn't have a say in how anyone lives their lives.  That's like saying, "I think all foreigners are alright" but then voting against any foreigners entering the US.  Btw... churches don't support marriage at all as they have no burden of record-keeping like the states do.

Vato26, you can still be Gay we are not stoping you from being gay.

we are just stoping our Tax money from going to pay for it.

we are stoping or not saying we think its a good thing that you are gay.

Marriage is - a legally recognized relationship, established by a civil or religious ceremony,

well one its not established by the people seeing that most of people in the US do not think its right.

yet most of the people in the US are ok with you being Gay. as long as we do not have to pay for it or support you in your action.

That about sums up my view on that. If you want to get mud on your helmet knock yourself out just don't take my dime to do it.

Next question do you every wonder why someone from Holland is so exicited about children not loving their country when it is not his?

The boy has every right not to say the pledge, and I am rather excited about the fact he had enough balls to stand up for what his parents believe in. Now if only we had enough Americans like this little boy to take true responsibility and stop leading us down this unsustainable path we are on.

I think we should further analyze this.

its the people of the state to make that choice.

Federal government should not be in evolved. My tax money paid to the federal government should not be used for things that are against my 1st amendment protected rights.

If a state wants to have a vote on if they want to support and pay for Gay marriage then let the state do that.
If the majority is for it. Then one can just move out of that state.

IF one can not support there family why are they asking we the Tax payer to do it?
