Players come for the game, but they stay for the people- Most Devs have forgotten this. |
After the mess of the Dragon Age launch, does anyone REALLY have any faith in them smooth launching a MMO? Really? Honestly? I mean, a MMO is about 100 times more complex then a single player and they can;t even get that right. Not to mention the audiences are a LOT less forgiving in a single player... From what I have seen here theres no way I would be pre ordering SWtOR.... and thats coming from a long time buyer of Bioware games. Definitly one to wait and watch what happens I think.
Lets not even start to talk about Bioware/ EA's love of 'additional' content and whatever via RMT...

huh? What problems were you having? I had a problem with the loading screen which has been caused by a memory leak I assumed, It didn't prevent me from enjoying the game as a whole though. |

If the launch was so bad you wouldn't need to go to the support forums because people would be spamming all over the place. |

I think he is mad because the dog doesn't like him in his copy of the game. I could be wrong. |

The only problem I have had is the loading times after a few hours of playing. Hmmm maybe its time for a break anyway. Restarting the client solves it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OP3rKRh0h5k |

I have not had a serious technical issue with a game for over five years now. Sure, there have been the few times when my drivers weren't compatible with a certain game.
My philosophy is this. If you are not a) an idiot or b) totally ITC illiterate, you should have no problems running Dragon Age on a relatively contemporary PC. |

I have great faith in bioware they have made some the best RPG's in the business. Baldurs gate,Kotor, neverwinter knights ect plus most players here seem to run dragon age okay. just because the game hates your pc doesn't mean TOR will fail. KOTOR the single player rpg we all love has won over 40 awards yeah i have faith in bioware to make kotor online game. |

I've never encountered any problems playing Dragon Age. Ever.
As far as RMT goes, the only RMT I can foresee them using is the DLC system to some degree. Which I wont mind since its only like 7 dollars. Playing: Star Wars: The Old Republic Waiting For: Guild Wars 2, sort of. |

What are you talking about? I have never had any problems with Dragon Age whatsoever... I'm sure there are some technical issues (as there are with ANY game's release), but they are certainly not the norm. Anyone else smell a troll? |

So, OP did you even play the game? Or did you go to the Tech support thread, see complaining, come to the conclusion there are problems with the game, then come here and begin ranting. Call me silly, but I think every game has a tech support forum which has people complaining of problems, unless I misunderstand the reason there is a tech support forum. For as awesome as Borderlands is, do you know how many problems it had and may still have (DA:O has kept me from it)? |

No idea what the OP is talking about. I have had no issues at all with Dragon Age. |
