Hi :]

I've played Dofus for about a year, recently got hacked and I'd like to start afresh in a different game.

I really like the set out of Dofus, quests monster fighting teaming up with others etc... Yet it can't be super duper fancy because my computer, even though it's relatively new, it isn't exactly the bee's knee's. I mean it can run fine, but if i put something like WoW on it'd probably lag.

I'm also an artist so I'm a sucker for good graphics (hate seeing stuff when I know I could do better) Oh and preferably F2P if possible :]

I think you'll like Lotro or aion, lotro is PVE focused while aion is a little bit more pvp but still good pve plus both of them have great graphics.

Uhm, do you have to buy the base pack of Aion for it to function?

I know my way around a computer... but I'm not exactly 'teched out'

Give Alganon a look. Right now it's in the BETA phase, which means a couple of cool things.

1) You get to basically get in on the ground floor of the game! It is OPEN BETA!

2) When you check out their website (http://alganon.com/) pay special attention to the "World Evolution" page. They have some

    good ideas they will be implementing, the first of which will be starting this December 1st!

I've logged in and played around some and I like it so far. You have to take it all into context though. The game is not complete, by any means, it is very functional, but there are bugs and you will get errors and crashes sometimes.

If you enjoy getting in on a game early that could prove to be a very fun game that will stand out from the crowd a lil' bit, in terms of features, you should give it a try.

Oh yeah, the game should not be that demanding on system resources. I haven't seen them listed yet, but download it and give it a shot if you like what you see and read.

I am also looking for a new game however Alganon from the screenshots and media looks very WoW duplicated, although it may not be finished i am unsure on whether its going to have the unique aspects that make a game so admirable...

 don't buy aion its a waste of 60 bucks. 

Why not try world of warcraft if you've never tried it? you don't need that great of a system to play and its pretty easy to pick up. 

Or if you want to play f2p try runes of magic

What do you mean by base pack? If you mean do you have to buy the game then yes, its 50 bucks for the box and $15/month i believe.

let me know what game you pick in the end :P cus i am after a fairly new and popular mmorpg no one likes joining a quiet game without a decent community, WoW has become over obsessed with levelling that true friendships are difficult to come by (in a game sense)

If you want a mature community from the newly released games check out fallen earth, great game.

WoW probably has one of the largest communities, which is both a curse and a blessing. You'll be able to find people you can relate with, but you will have to wade through alot of other types as well. It takes a lot of patience and tolerance to really enjoy WoW in my opinion.

I really liked Fallen Earth but the world was too drab for me. Yes I know it was supposed to be post apocalyptic, but it seemed like the sun never shined :(

Well it's just I know some boys that do play WoW and they kind of just play it all day. I'm easily addicted to things so that's why I don't really want to try Wow because I probably won't leave my house lol.

Yeah runes of magic looks pretty nifty, thinking about trying it out.

Hah, didn't realize there was an age thingy on fallen Earth, can't change it now x] So they won't let me in. Apocalyptic gaming sounds kind of depressing though.

I've sent in a request for Allods Online, it looks rather awesome. The question is whether it'll be a short or long time or IF I even get a beta key x]

MMORPG had a Allods beta key giveaway a couple of days ago, maybe there's some left.
