Things like this haunt the game. The fans try to pass the image that the community is grown up and mature, and then someone post things like this. Weeks of credibility down the drain. Who would like to play with someone who posts this?

I think over the next month or two we're going to get many more posts like this. From people who either don't quite know what they've gotten themselves into, to people who flat out can't stand the game.

Hopefully some of the influx will choose to call it home.

When I saw the post title I was hoping it was going to be a nice story of revenge that I could post on DFONews.com Sadly seems more like someone got pked, and then got lucky, and then kind of made an ass of themselves.

Geez I didn't even think of that. Ouch.

Don't know if it's been said before but one of the bigger quests I've accepted is one where I'm required to kill 3 Mirdain player characters (I'm Mahirim). This might explain why some newbs are out hunting even newer players. Though this accounts for a fraction of the ganking I'm sure.

Actually, the OP didn't kill him, someone else killed him and the OP took his stuff and started acting like a bitch. You should read the rest of his post, it's mildly amusing.
