Never argue with idiots. They just bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience. |

Quest helper? I've never used a quest helper of any kind in any game. How lame! That's like cheating..what's the point of playing then? Better off reading a book or watching a movie then. |

New 5 mans? I quit the game because of the zerg fest the 5 mans are currently. I don't care to play a game where there is no strategy. Right now every one just AOEs everything down and the tank AOEs to hold everything .. stupid stupid stupid. The game use to have some fun strategy before WOTLK. Not to mention the sell of virtual items for real life cash. If you don't want that in your games in the future don't support blizzard by subscribing to their game. |

As for Blizzard having a cash shop...guess you'll be giving up MMOs then, amiright? Since by that definition, every non-garbage game right now is as bad or worse. On the bright side, you could take your new-found free time and read a book. |

Truthfully, the best innovators in MMOs have been WoW mod developers. I believe a lot of things that are standard in MMOs now were first seen as mods in WoW. The smart thing that Blizzard did was to make WoW very easy to create addons for. I don't think WoW would have been nearly as successful without its modding community. And not that it matters very much, but I think he was talking Cataclysm in that typo. I think he meant to say: "My only concern is how the timing lines up against Cataclysm. My guess is that we will see Cataclysm sometime in early 2011, possibly even the end of 2010. If this is correct we will get a good solid year of game play out of Patch 3.3." |

"..One of the biggest improvements in Wrath of the Lich King was more involved storytelling,..."
Oddly enough, this what ruined the game for me. Even in Burning Crusade, when they tried to tell the story directly, the game just seemed to get worse. The lore was really cool.. now it's terrible.
Edit: OK, maybe not what ruined the game, but the lore, there's a lot of crap that ruined the game. |

But imo Onyxia's Revamp was to Re-introduce newer people to a raid they may have never done because they were not around pre bc.Heck even I never had a chance to do onyxia (played off and on for 4 years). and to update some of the Classic armor sets that still look slick :). Just they way I precieve it. |

So....ermm.....Garretts top 5 things coming in the next WoW patch are an axe, some armour, a quest tracking system that no-one is going to need (so why is this in the top 5 then you idiot?), some new dungeons and a boss fight with the Lich King. The dungeons and the boss fight are probably the only things worth mentioning.......and they're not really that exciting. What a shit article. |

It saved me from wasting countless boring hours/days/weeks running around like a headless chicken looking for static object #5765765765765. You dont seriously find that enjoyable do you? Besides what difference does it make? Everyone will get through the game sooner or later anyway. If you want to waste your time and money then thats up to you. |

Did DAoC have one? (Pre ToA) I can't remember. Or was it just /who Cleric 40 ? :) |

Finally the players get to put that annoying talkative git in his place. Personally for the LFG system worked pretty well when I played the game last, not that there wasn't room for improvement. But compared to when it was introduced and no one ever used it, I was happy to see it working reasonably well. |

Kind of dreading the patch myself as I think that the cross-realm dungeon system is an awful idea that will destroy the community in World of Warcraft. |

There have been many attempts by blizzard to add a LFG system.... 1. just a LFG chat channel (seemed fine at the time) - Vanillia and now #5 which is kind of all the above mixed into 1 and some more. In what has become know as the PUG dungeon system
You can join the PUG system as a group, so lets say you got 4 guild guys together or 4 peeps from your server but are lacking a tank, join the PUG system as a group and the system will find you a tank from (in my case) 14 servers. I think this is fine for dunegons and GREAT for low-level dungeons but, theres talk and even UI in the PTR for PUG raids made this way, man thats goona be hard to get right... I mean how are we goona check Achievements :p (man I hate that achievement crap "link achivements blah blah"). Linkable achivements and flying mounts.. my two WoW hates .. rank over. |

I see we share the same dislikes (flying mounts as killers of immersion, and achievements as the new reputation grind tool) |
