if your serious about getting into WoW i'd first get a realm that fits your timezone, which you can find here http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=88359291&postId=880935963&sid=1
from there, find whether you like RP, PVE, PVP, etc etc and you can decide |

Someone's never played WoW before? It seems like everyone on planet Earth has at some point in time played the game. It seems like babies are being born that have played WoW. My advice: thottbot. It's really helpful if you're stuck on something. Aside from that, just get in the grove and enjoy the game. I had fun with it for 8 months or so when it first released. |

Pardon the pun....but WOW! A person that hasn't played WoW and isn't afraid to say it here? :P The Old Timers Guild is still strong there and always eager to help out. I know we are old...and grumpy....and....old But we can help the true newcomers out. Might check them out. (if yer old enough) http://www.oldtimersguild.com/ *This message brought to you by Depends. Depend on a trusted adult diaper. Because that crowd at the four star restaurant won't back you up like we do. "This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to. Relax....." |

www.warcraftrealms.com lists by population. it isnt 100% accurate but it is useful. www.wowprogress.com lists, in order, the servers with the best progression -Computer specs no one cares about: check. -MMOs played no one cares about: check. -Xfire stats no one cares about: check. -Signature no one cares about: check. ------------------------------------------------------------ |

Welcome to WoW! Times have not been better for WoW, there is alot of content, both pve and pvp to suit all tastes. Find yourself a good guild, pref a leveling one, as a decent one will help you out and you'll quickly make new friends. For information, the official WoW forum is a great place to start; esp for race/class/spec info. Have fun! |
