Set in the Area of Tunsville, Howdy is a 2D Wild West take on the popular gaming style 'Sandbox'. Sandbox Games are where you can generally do anything, kill civilians, buy houses, ride horses, complete missions and just darn right have fun for hours on end. Best of all, Howdy has this but its all 'Westified'!

Story

A new Band of Settlers have arrived from the East to Tunsville. You among them. It's hard out here, the scorching sun and danger is everywhere; Red Indian Tribes, Snakes, Giant Scorpions, Banditos, Jail, Flash Floods, Droughts. Towns ruled by the Law, the rest owned by Crooks and Criminals. Whoever you are, however you play, it's [b]YOUR[/b] turn to make your mark.

Features

Seamless Maps
Sliding maps mean no waiting for maps to load, run to your hearts contempt.
Horseriding
If you've got the money, get to your destination quicker with over 6 Different Horses to choose from.
Shooting NPCs
Careful who you start a fight with, one day that Bar Tender might get ya.
Backpacks
No need to constantly drop or bank items, now you can carry extra bags around, now you can carry all your favourite guns.
Visual Banks
Bank upto 50 Items with a special Pin Code. Try not to rob your own bank though.
Pets
Whether its a Desert Fox for show or a Tough Coyote to aid you in your battles feed and look after your pet.
Player Shops
Got too much unwanted items from the last Hold Up? Then don't sell to a shop keeper, open your own shop in the town square.
Offline Mail
Send mail to your friends to organise the next Bank Job or death threats to the guy who just beat you. Online or Offline.
Player Menus
Right click a player with options such as 'Chat', 'Trade' and 'Add Friend'.
Visual Party System
If you don't wanna venture alone then team up with friends and head out also seeing their Health, Sprite and Stamina.
Bounty System
That's the last time he'll kill you. Put a price on someone's head and watch as they become a target for all the Banditos.
Spell Hotbar
Equip your favourite spells easier to fill your enemies with bullet holes.
W,A,S,D Movement
Easier to move around and makes combat much easier.
Guild Housing
Now you can recruit players to join your guild/possy/gang and even have a special meeting hall for those special plans.

If there is anything such as Darth Vader, Indiana Jones, any Disney character or anything that doesn't fit in the Wild West, as the characters list and the image at the top of the page (which looks like a modern cafe...really dude?) suggest, then I'm not playing it.

I want the wild west. Not some conglomeration of everything in the wild west. 

NOTE: I understand that's your resources site. The point still stands...

Might want to come up with a different name to avoid confusion with the 2D Wild West MMORPG that has been out for a few years, Bang! Howdy
