If you're going to stick it out there, don't be afraid if you get it cut off.

I don't know a lot about PCs.  I know mine works great with all available MMORPs, but I don't play games like Dragon Age on it so I don't know.  I used the Can You Run It http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/srtest/ site and it showed that I couldn't run the game because I have Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz.  Everything else looks good besides this factor.  Is this accurate does anyone know?

I suppose I can always buy it for 360, but I heard it is more fun on PC:(

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT

System Model: Dimension 4700
BIOS: Phoenix ROM BIOS PLUS Version 1.10 A10
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 3070MB RAM

Mate, if I'm to make an assessment on that, you'll need to post your specs:

CPU
Graphics Card
Motherboard
Ram
OS

You'll be just fine OP.

I run the game from my work computer without any issues (other than occassional framerate drops, which are to be expected on such a low end system), and it has the following specs:

AMD Sempron (Single Core) 1.8GHz

Vista Ultimate 64

2GB RAM

ATI 3500 Series PCI-E Video, 256mb VRAM.

DA:O gets a steady 30 fps at least almost everywhere I go, sure its nothing special, but for a comp that shows its age as much as the ones at my workplace do, its fairly impressive that it can even run it at all. This is on Medium settings, 1280x1024 res, full screen.

I'd say give it a shot, I bet it runs just fine in most areas.

I bought it and it does run fine, thanks.  I must say this game is a lot of fun.  I think Bioware really has something special with this one.  Although I'm having a little bit of buyer's remorse because I'll be picking up Modern Warefare 2 for my 360 next week and will not have the time to play both games lol.  Oh well, the PC version of DA:O is really nice!

I would not waste the time.

The games controls are awkward and the game has more cut scenes in the 1st 5 hours than actual footage in kevin Costners The Postman

The game is a MAJOR SNORE. I could have sponsored an Ethiopian kid for 9 years for what this awesomely marketed, but poorly made game,cost...or bought another game, either or.
