So one of the greatest past times of all time for me was mud. Open telnet on your computer and type: o exile.lurker.net 4000 Or if you have a mud client and already play just use that adress and port. It's very fun to play at work or at school or when you got some time. The game is very detailed but not hard to grasp. It's very fun with several perks. One round to round based combat so it actually takes skill to play. Two it's developed so that you kind of have to make alliances and friends to move through the game. Three in certain areas you can kill people and loot their gear. It's it has a map as opposed to most muds where you have to read the room description. There is a relic/depic systems that allows you to find hidden items in corpses and turn them in for tokens or varies stats. All around the game is extremely fun and extremely addictive. Don't knock it til you try it.
If it asks who referred you put saske. I'll see you soon. |

Yes, I remember muds, and good MMOs, back when most people were friendly/grouped a lot/roleplayed. Then WoW happened... |

I haven't played a MUD in YEARS. MMMM reminds me when I was fresh to the concept of PKs. This forum is a troll connoisseur's wet dream. |

I still log into Avalon every once in a while just to look around. At times there's a fairly healthy amount of people on. If anyone is interested can check it out @ http://www.avalon-rpg.com/ or http://www.firstage.net.
