Lack of an /ignore command is a game killer for me. |

that's true... an /ignore command that does not competely ignore everything from the person... "There is only one thing of which I am certain, and that's nothing is certain." |

I woulds Say: Large scale pvp that lags on a high end comp. Stick chicks! need more volupuous woman (some games have them) lack of toon customization. lack of good crafting (AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Loves the Stygian ladies..continues to dance)
The ONLY opinion that matters if I like or dislike about a game is mine and mine alone. Playing: SWTOR and World of Tanks. |

Originally posted by masterbbb26 Slider bars for physical features during character creation. While with a limited selection (i.e., 8 faces to choose from), I can pick what "works best", with a slider system, you can never really get to where you want (just too much variation), and once you log on, if something seems like it can be tweaked better, I feel compelled to reroll. Slider bars are just annoying, IMO. |

Something that always troubles me is if I can't create a character whose appearance I like. I'm not entirely sure character appearance qualifies as a miniscule feature but its something that bothers me out of all proportion to its real importance and can lead to me quitting a game much sooner than I otherwise would. |

Poor collision detection (being able to walk through other people and solid objects) Lifeless worlds. But, the thing that annoys me most of all is loading screens. It just reminds me that everything is 'fake'. I guess I am and immersion freak after all. I tried playing Real Life but the graphics sucked, the community was annoying too. |

I hate it when the game forces me to change my weapon/armor or any piece of equipment when I reach a certain level. I don't want to use certain sword or armor just because developer made them powerful and suitable for that level. Once I decide on my favorite weapon or armor/helm, they should be good throughout my gaming career no matter how high my level becomes.
Allowing players to keep their weapons/armors and to grow or become proficient with them, and allowing players to dye/paint their equipments are two key features I always consider must for a good game. |

I like auto attack. It is basically just a nice constant dot for more damage. Now, on topic, something miniscule I hate is when I get stuck on a freaking pebble sticking out of the ground. |

Warehouse, mailbox and auction house all spread out around the town. IMO, the three should be right next to each other. Although I think the rest of the town is poorly done, Orgrimmar's very close proximity of mailbox, bank and AH was a layout that I found very convenient and easy to use. In the town of Bree in LOTRO, the bank is about as far away from the auction house as possible and has proven a real negative for me as a gatherer/crafter. |

Things that annoy me to various degrees.
Inability to jump, even if it isn't very useful I still like having a z axis. Auto attack that makes up most my damage I hate just buffing character then watching him kill stuff I want to press more buttons. If not completely remove auto attack at least make it a very minor part of the combat. Attacks activate on your next auto attack, which means they never actually activate when you want them to, so if you need to activate something in a timely manner, forget it. Plus nothing says you don't have control of your character like attacks being used based on a predetermined interval. Auto follow targets, I hate when my guy follows targets around when I tell him to attack them, I want to control my own movement directly. You must stop moving to hit someone with a sword, because apprently I can't do that while walking, I can understand for ranged but for melee it is just lame, especially when you fight ranged characters. You can't pan the camera around to look at your character without entering into a special camera mode first. You can't just log out and select a new character, you have to type you password and log back in everytime. nonsensical cast times, why does it take X seconds to learn the blueprint, I am not in combat tacking on X seconds is just pointless. Chat with no speech bubbles, because if I have to pay attention to the chat box I will miss people talking constantly, I want to see someone say something. Inability to scale my UI, cause I don't like big clunky UIs that take up 1/3 the screen. No stat conversion, if I don't know exactly what a stat does how do I know if I want it or not. |

No jump and no underwater swimming and content. But I don't consider them to be minuscule features :) |

The chance of having your items drop when you try to PK a person then you were the one who got PK'ed.
My reason, Personally I don't like PK but it things like that happen especially when you get bullied when you are on your lower levels. When you get stronger, you want to get back to that person who bullied you who is much stronger to you up until know. So it gives a frightening experience to PK when there is a chance for your equipement to be dropped. |

Most definitely the sound. If I'm playing a badass tank, I want him to sound like a badass tank when he charges into the fight, not a 12 year old boy who picked up a stick in the backyard. I'm sorry, but no matter what anyone says, try taking your game and playing it for 2 hours with the sound on MUTE. If the sound sucks, the game sucks. Take Aion for instance, how many people played it and after the first 2 hours you already had to look for the UI check box to turn your players sound off? Especially the girl sounds, OMFG I actually got to level 10 a couple times and had to re-roll just to get rid of the voices. And the same voice cap for 5 different skills? Or the same pew-pew noise on every spell? Same goes for the ambient sounds, the high pitch tinkerbell in the background of the elf starter zone by Darnasus in WoW, just makes that zone unbearable for more than 1 hour. (I know, I know - what tinkerbell? Yeah you have to have good speakers to even notice it, but if you do...). Or the sounds the attacks make, come on - does a mace really sound the same as a dagger hitting the plate mail? Or a sword swing the same as the shield bash...please. Yeah, HUGE negative if the sound sucks. Some of these games are multi-million dollar productions and I bet they payed less than $5k on the sound effects. Sure, the music is important too - but everyone always subs the music out eventually (not enough to the soundtrack to last more than 15 times through it). The sound effects though, you can't sub out with your iPod, they have to be good. (DISCLAIMER - The use of the word YOU in the above post is not directed at any one person in particular, but towards those who fall into the category itself - there is no personal attack here, neither intentional nor implied.) |

In WOW; Why can't wyverns have straight flight paths ? That really bugged me.

Something I like about flying somewhere is the game is doing something - you are progressing your x,y,z to a different x,y,z, and you can get a coffee, or go to the toilet. All those little things! =P
For me, it's the ability to get stuck, and no ability to get out of being stuck. I.e. WAR's no-movement-after-jumping thing they had way back when. When you jump in WoW, press w/a/q/e (not a/d, they turn) mid-air and you'll see what I'm talking about. I hate having the "unstuck" button on a 1hr cooldown. Additionally, I agree with the on-next-attack moves. I hate them. I used to play a hunter - multishot. Ugh. I am playing EVE and it's alright... level V skills are a bit much. You all need to learn to spell. |

No its not fun having to waste 10 minutes flying all over the place to get from point A to point B. It was nice the first time when you haven't seen the environment but the next 20 was a waste.

Some resons for the flight paths might be - to show off the world - to make the world seem bigger - to reduce travel speed (increased "downtime" to lengthen overall play time) - the flying mounts are equipped with faulty GPS systems - to add a sense of wonder for new players when they're trekking past the road in Goldshire and suddenly a gryphon flies over them. |

As much as I love Guild Wars Fractions (it's my favourite campaign by the way), what I really hate is the mispronounciations of names. I understand that Asian and Western pronounciations are different; people always ask me for an English name because they can't pronounce my given name. But honestly, if you want to have an Asian setting, at least get voice actors who can pronounce names correctly. I keep cringing at almost every cutscene because of the horrible pronounciations.

A few things I cant stand are... *point and click *games where you cannot jump *games that have predefined genders for classes (i.e. Perfect World) *no collision *swimming ( and for that I mean, Heavily armored Knights being able to swim fine in an ocean or lake, just as easy as some leather bound archerer.....there should be a hindrance on swimming depending on the type of armor you wear)

btw it seems like people think I'm asking the question why can't flight paths be straight. I was being sarcastic.
