Ok, I work a lot and don't get much time to play MMO's but right now I am just itching to play something new!  Every spare moment I am not working is spent on mmorpg.com lol.  Sad, really.  I really hope that Black Prophecy is good.  I like the graphics in BP over JGE and the idea of clan owned bases.

I'm in the same boat as you, working full time and not much time for play.

I've been looking for a good space MMO (Besides Eve) and this does look promising. I've signed up for the beta, so hopefully I get a chance to have a crack.

With Jumpgate Evolution turning out to be Spacehammer online, my attention is turning to this game as well.

I would like to play more games personally and haven't played an MMO since the first month of AoC after that game didn't promise what it was touting I was going to just wait for something else that interests me and I would agree that BP interests me more than JGE. I know SWTOR has some promise but that is probably a year away still.

Yep, hate elfs and hate all these new fantasy games coming out...all same old - forests, magic bla bla bla.

Eve i love, but personally its too slow, i play it just to explore, and just enjoy the open space environment.

BP looks like a great game so far and i hope it goes the same concept of EvE gameplay, but make it i guess "faster" in a sense that you dont have to wait donkey years for a skill to be trained :P.

I just got the preorder of Fallen Earth and got into early access, if you are looking for a new mmo without fluffly little elves and fairies, give it a try.  It's the most fun I've had on an mmo in awhile, its a sandbox mmofps in a post-apocolyptic setting.  There is nothing quite like it out there, it's a breath of fresh air.  All armors/weapons are player crafted, no big gaudy rewards from dungeon running, except maybe rare items used to craft things.  You can create your character how you like by spending your AP, so there is no mold as to what you have to be, it has some bugs and hiccups, but a very smooth game for not yet being released.  It comes out September 22, and if you are bored with our current regimes I highly reccomend it.  The gms are super helpful as well and the player base is great.

Bjuser I am in the same boat/ ship. I'm itching for a new game to take me away from reality. I'm in the Army thus work crazy hours. I am on MMORPG every day looking for that release. JGE was the hope at first but with the lack of any updating to the website and no word on the release or beta even I found BP. This game is looking very promising. Heres hoping for a solid release.

I need faaast epic space battles like the old Tie Fighter but with real players... is that so difficult? EVE is NOT what I am looking for, I want first person view, feel that I am INSIDE the cockpit. I think BP is on the right path, and the stunning GFX engine is something for modern PCs not the obsolete engines that usually roam in mmo world. Go Reakktor dont dissapoint us! =)

I hear you...I am in the same position myself, not currently playing any MMO's and looking everyday on MMORPG.com for my next game.  It will be between this game and STO.

Well at least STO is in BETA niether JGE or BP are at this point yet. Hoping that we will see a beta announcement from both games before the end of the year but I doubt it.
