This is the day many people said would nt happen . Inspite of Blizzard nudgeing us slowly towards it in recent months here it finally is . Does anyone actually think this will stay at a virtual pet store ? Because i dont and i doubt most people do . Theres very little to defend apart from the fact 50 percent of one pets profits are going to the make a wish foundation . it wont end with pets . SO whats next ? i am the walrus goo goo ga ;) |

to be honest i dont think the 50% is defensible being it is the consumers paying the bill. Blizzard wants to start a foundation take it out of the company not the player base..And next will be maybe be clothes for the pet sort of a barbie online development or special food that makes pet do things..

Blizzard knows full well introducing bought epics will crash the game. So It will probly just stay a pet store they have even tried to stress the fact it is complete vanity items... But people are sooo easy to jump on WoW and tear it down how long untill Aion get a RMT probly not long and will probly get EXP potions and things of that sort right off the bat. I wouldn't be suprised after a while they start adding vanity items for your vanity pet. Currently playing: Aion Played: L2 RFO EvE R.O.S.E EQ2 HellGate:London TRIBES2 WOW WarHammer |

Dude, they give you a pet just for switching to B.net.

Ohh the item is already in the game even better yeah that seals the deal.... Number 1 thing i have seen in RMT they may be exclusive or rare at first but nothing the company isent willing to let you pay 10 dollars for =] Lvl 75 Black Mage/White Mage ffxi |

i personally think it will be mounts next but you ll have to already have a mount before you can buy a more exotic one . also i would nt be suprised if there will be an option to buy a level 55 (ala death knight )character of a different class once you hit level 80 . Weapons/Armor i m not so sure of . i am the walrus goo goo ga ;) |

And $10 is still a bit steep for those pets. Currently playing: Aion Played: L2 RFO EvE R.O.S.E EQ2 HellGate:London TRIBES2 WOW WarHammer |

I think this is step one in Blizzards plan to make this game F2P with a cash store option for better gear. There is no point in keeping WoW running when they release their new MMO. Plus WoW has had a good run and the expansions arnt so much as reviving the game at this point, but are simply breathing life into it to keep it alive a for as long as they can. |

Yours is not the path of force, though force is often needed to clear the path. |
I hope they start selling everything! i'm gonna buy 2 more copies of wow and all its xpacs just so celebrate the awesomness that is blizzard. BRB spending monies, cuz i can. We are all ignorant until truth is revealed to us.. However.. How do we know the truth is not in fact a lie.. "When a man has lost everything, he may despair and die. He might give his soul to the fate's... or, he can resolve to take action." "The great thing about human language is that it prevents us from sticking to the matter at hand." |

Actually this is a step Blizzard has taken at the very beginning of the game. This is the same thing as the pets included in the Collector's Edition of the game. The game has been fine with those in the game for five years so it will survive this just fine and nothing real will change. People like to use these slippery slop arguments without realizing that the step that one has to worry about is the one that is 'actually bad' rather than the steps that are 'could lead to something bad'. When Blizzard does something that is actually detrimental to my game play then I will be in an uproar. |
