Deleted threads are visible.  This sort of defeats the point of moderators being able to delete threads, as a spammer can still muck up an entire forum with spammed threads.

Deleted threads shouldn't be visible.

There may be edge cases where deleted threads should be visible (such as if you're a moderator; or maybe if you're the originator of the thread which was deleted) but by default it makes no sense for these threads to remain visible.

I may be sorta harsh on EVE, but damn is this a cool trailer (EVE Dominion).

I pointed out to the owner here in his post that they SHOULD have a program that regulates certain words. The obvious has happened i am sure all have seen it.Having a TOS or rules does nothing to people who do not care if you ban them.A thread can remain up plenty long to do extreme harm before it is removed,so by not regulating/filtering certain words, your site is not doing the best job it can do.

Word filtering would actually eliminate a lot of problems at MMORPG.There is such a thing as leaving an open mind to discussion, however it serves no purpose at all to allow words that your very site is against.

I first witnessed it in Wizard 101,MANY people were against it,you know what ,i was not and it works.

It eliminates the need to have a moderator instantly on hand and solves the problem at it's source. This site has some nice advertising mechanics for making money like Twitter/Facebook/several gaming ads,but they need to step outside the money making schemes and do a better job of regulating the site. This is why an automated chat filter is best,it is low cost,it almost completely removes the need for a moderator or a report tool. It's pros outweighs it's cons by about 100-1 imo.

Having the titles of deleted threads still show that a thread had existed is something many vocal members have asked for over the years. They and we are now reaping the rewards of their persistence and insistence on some transparency of the moderation of the forums. MMORPG.com responded to their wishes. We have those members to thank for this. "Improvements" are often double edged swords.

Axehilt, do you have a specific link to one of these threads so that we can take a look at it? Thanks!

Thanks for the report.  I've fixed this issue up.
