Can the most epic rpg to date turn into a mmo ? Would you want this epic game to be turned into a mmo ? I would love this game to rurn into mmo form. Bioware is the best at the fantasy genre and I think it would make alot of sense for this to become a mmo. What do you guys think ? |

I think they should try multi-player first. |

A game so good and with so much depht as Dragon Age could never be turned to an MMO and keep the same quality. I think it should remain right where it is.... keep expanding this jewel Bioware, pls |

It only came out yesterday and you're already calling it the "most epic rpg to date"? One thing is for sure... Its the most hyped RPG to date. But with zones, auto-leveling difficulty, and emo inter-party dialog I could care less how 'epic' it is. |

I agree they should try starting on multiplayer first. But wasn't there a mmo that was in development a long time ago called dragon age? |

I heard dragon age ran like crap. Imagine how bad it would run with more players on screen. |

Yes! There should be a Dragon Age MMO! Can there please finally be an MMORPG with humans, dwarves, elves and dragons in it? Why won't anybody make a game like that? |

The game is great I agree. However, no way could it be an mmo. I will say that I have enjoyed playing Dragon Age 100 times more than any mmo I've played. |

I have a far from state of the art computer, the game runs smooth and the graphics are very nice. |

Dragon Age has yet to disapoint, the more I play the game the more I love it. I'd adore seeing it go multiplayer. I wouldn't mind seeing it as an MMO, as long as its spirit didn't get lost in translation. |

You get on the tracks and follow from point a to point b.
It's not a bad game. But personally to me it feels over-hyped for what I've seen in game. |

Like clockwork: Good single/multiplayer game comes out. Someone posts, thinking "hey why can't they make an MMO like this?" without realizing that being an MMO is exactly why it can't be like that. While MMOs will always lag behind the quality of single/multiplayer games by definition, one of the big things holding MMOs even further back is the fact that quite a few players seem to have a very strong distaste for instancing/phasing (which is one of the best methods for kicking the quality bar up several notches towards where single/multiplayer games exist.) Note that this is just the quality of content, which doesn't necessarily mean it'll be more fun overall. Singleplayer games hold my interest for insanely shorter lengths of time than MMOs and multiplayer games. |

This is why I dont trust any hype of anything coming out of Bioware... |

Funny how people have such a hard time with reading comprehension when all they are doing here is reading and writing. I never said it runs like crap, I said I heard it does. Theres a thread on comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.rpg where many people are saying that there is a memory leak and the longer you play it the longer the load times between areas become. But yea they could all be wrong. I havent played it myself yet. |

As much as I love the lore and backstory and would like to see it expanded on... NO Turning Dragon Age into an MMO would completely ruin it. Even LoTRO can barely keep its story/lore above the sea of stat whoring and general metagaming crap that makes an MMORPG feel more like a database than a living world. I'm quite happy with them simply releasing content modules for it. Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts. EAT ME MMORPG.com! |

It is true. I've played for about 17 hours so far and I've had this problem twice. But all you have to do is restart the game and get back on your char which takes about 2 mins. So it's not that bad. |

I haven't tried it yet but I asked a friend who is playing it and told me that it doesn't have that many dungeons as oblivion, that is something I enjoy doing in oblivion wandering in some random dungeon to get good stuff but it seems that dragon age didn't go this step. I'll try it for sure but if there are few dungeons that will be something that may make me bored later on while playing. |
