NetEase gets China non-approval notice

Reuters reported that China didn't approve World of Warcraft in China ... I guess the future of the game doesn't look good in China.

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov 2 (Reuters) - China's No.2 Internet games operator NetEase.com Inc (NTES.O) said it has been notified by a Chinese government agency that its operation of the World of Warcraft game does not have proper approval.

[...] China's General Administration of Press and Publication posted a statement on its Website that the NetEase affiliate company that operates World of Warcraft should suspend charging users to play the game and not allow new account registrations, according to NetEase.

TBH most of the chinese players have moved to the Tiawan servers anyway.

China wont be happy untill blizzard make every avatar shout "hi'YA" in young chinese female accents, play through a 10min animation just to auto attack and all the male avatars look effeminate with cool haircuts.

Nail that Blizzard.. and dont forget to bribe GAPP and your good to go.

Yeah china's just playing games with these people, they are probably trying to hold them out till someone gives them a lot of cash to allow it to go on, blizz should just tell them f off and shut it down, the subs there aren't worth that much anyways.

If the servers are in Taiwan that means China won't dare attack Taiwan, not because of the United States but the backlash from the World of Warcraft players!  NEWS FLASH...WORLD OF WARCRAFT BRINGS PEACE TO TWO CHINA'S!!!
