I just want to say something. I just dinged level 10 last night. I've been mostly concentrating on crafting, and I have been using melee almost exclusively to save chips by not using ammo. I have yet to put a single point in any weapon skills. I have not had any real trouble doing any of the quests yet because of that. Granted I have kept my Armor Use skill up, but mostly I have worked on gathering and crafting skills. That having been said, I feel like I am much more powerful using melee right now that ranged... although I do not feel as though either combat aspect is gimped. ------------------------- |

I am at level 20 now on the borders of S1 and S2. I am probably going to hang tight for a few days and just get most of my tradeskills capped and save the materials before heading into S2. Right now I am using a Rifle / Crafter template, so I got a lot of down time with this character. But still is a lot of fun. I went a constructed a (75) Safari xbow and instead of me using 2 types of Rifles. Going to see how this pans out for PvE. Anyways, I am doing another character the same way your leveling yours. Wish me luck
