Here are mine. Yeah, I know It's a lot but I look at them as there own seperate, unique identities that are interconnected as great games but not in competition with each other.

I think they are all quite great games, each with their own strengths and weakness's. So I cannot as a result really narrow It down to a top 10 or some such.

I guess like you the Zelda games would be high on my list. I also liked Champions of Norrath and the Baldurs Gate console games a lot. For shooters the original  Halflife and Doom 3 are good I think. I really liked the first Sly Cooper game, they dont make many platformers anymore i also liked the old Crash Bandicoot games for PS. Really too many to choose but those are a few that come to mind. For the super old stuff, Solaris on the Atari took a lot of my time.

It has to be true, i have internet links.

If you’re carrying nothing it won’t weigh you down

I'm not gonna try to make a list yet but when I read Banjo-Kazooie in the original post I felt like I should point out that the 360 game Nuts and Bolts is actually quite fun to pick up and do a few challenges every once in a while. The game can get a bit annoying if you find yourself focusing on one really hard challenge for a long time but there's enough medium-easy difficulty challenges that are fun to breeze through even if it means making a new vehicles over and over again. Eventually making vehicles becomes 2nd nature and you are just doing the fun stuff like races or water polo. But because of a few frustrating challenges I wouldnt suggest playing this game all day. But I highly recommend it as a casual pick up and play game when you really don't have any games going on at the moment.

In the history of video games, only two perfect games have been made. These are Sonic 3 and Knuckles and Star Fox 64.

TWILIGHT ONION!

11/04/09 11:44:23 AM#10

I guess I am the only one that can just name a single game that hands down blows away every other fantastic game I have ever played.

The legend of zelda Ocarina of time (N64) - If I had to choose to only own a single game regardless of its genre I would pick this.  Id pick another hobby and just beat it once a year like I always do. Since I got the game at age 12 back in 1998 I was amazed with it. I have beat that game a total of  19 times since I got it back in 1998. Am Still not sick of it.  To be honest It's the only game that still makes me cry tears of joy every time I pass it.  Even as a busy college student with minimal time for games.

Runner up games to that although very far  behind imo are.

The legend of Zelda Twilight princess.  (GC)

Final Fantasy X (Ps2)

Medieval 2 Total war + Expansion (PC)

Oblivion (PC)

The legend of  the dragoon (ps1)

The house of the dead (Sega Saturn)

Final Fantasy XI (PC/360) - Yes an mmo is in my top games.

Killer 7 (GC)

.Hack Infection, Mutation, Outbrake, Quarantine. (ps2)

.hack GU Rebirth, Reminisce,  Redemption.  (ps2)

Soul Calibur II (GC)

These are basically the top games I have ever played.
