After they take down WoW's servers in China, after Blizzard  changes all the content specific to China regulation, changing of blood, skellies, colors, .... now they just say "fuck you" to Blizzard and tell them they can't keep operating in China.

Seriously, tell me why I should ever even consider buying any game from China again, companies move there because they work cheaper, Western companies take Western jobs and outsource them, and then China blocks any Western game developer from selling games there.

LOL much.

As several analysts note this morning, China’s

General Administration of Press and Publication

(known as GAPP) has rejected an application from

NetEase (NTES)

seeking approval for

World of Warcraft

. The review process is now officially terminated. Goldman Sachs analyst Richard Ji notes that the company is required to stop the commercialization of WoW in China, and to end registration of new accounts immediately.oval.

I'm not suprised to see this coming from China. I still can't fully understand the reasoning behind Western product bans, it doesn't quite make any sense. Then again.....eh....

To be honest, I couldn't care less about what China decides about a computer game.  It will sure piss off all those Chinese gold-farmers and gold-sellers, though, which is great news.  They can all go and get a real job now.
