Wal-Mart starts selling caskets, urns online

*

By Emily Fredrix, Associated Press
MILWAUKEE — The world's largest retailer wants to keep its customers even after they die.

Wal-Mart has started selling caskets on its website at prices that undercut many funeral homes, long the major seller of caskets.

The move follows a similar one by discount rival Costco, which also sells caskets on its site.

Wal-Mart (WMT), based in Bentonville, Ark., quietly put up about 15 caskets and dozens of urns on its website last week.

Prices range from $999 for models like "Dad Remembered" and "Mom Remembered" steel caskets to the mid-level $1,699 "Executive Privilege." All are less than $2,000, except for the Sienna Bronze Casket, which sells for $3,199.

Caskets ship within 48 hours. Federal law requires funeral homes to accept third-party caskets. ENDquote

Its your last big deal from Walmart but fortunately you don't have to live with it!

Yours is not the path of force, though force is often needed to clear the path.

Fact of the matter is, your last ever paycheck will be put to THE most overpriced service you will ever use, in your life or after.

There is few businesses that needs heavy competition as much as this one.

Not an american so I have never been to a wal-mart but I am fairly sure this is good not only for them but for us as well.

Food for thought.

Can not say I understand what you mean by that, besides repeating what I said, a way of argumenting I have not encountered since kindergarten, couple of questions though.

How is this bad, wal-mart selling funeral stuff I mean?

What is soylent green?

Yes, Its down right creepy that Wal-Mart and Costco are selling Caskets and Urns.
Does it have one of those Happy Face price stickers on them??

And As for your question about Soylent Green. I refuse to answer that question due to the existence of the internet, but thanks for asking and enjoy looking it up youself.
