First let me say that since i started with mmorpgs back in 1999, i always dreamed of a mmo where you can constantly discover something new, that just blows you away solely from the looks of it. And now its 3 weeks from becoming reality. You can warp around for HOURS and DAYS and still find a new place that will stun you. But have a look for yourself (there are still some graphical issues, as in some planets not having the high res layer attached to them, but im sure theyll fix that for the final build):

MANY thousands of planets, and Dozens of thousands of moons, and each one looking unique. you will never see them all. They are simply  to many.

Especially since you would neet  to visit not only the known space, but every single of the 2.500 wormhole systems too, if you wanted to see every single planet and moon.

Holy crap those look amazing.

Thanks for sharing. I'm on a break from the game at the moment, so I'm a bit out of the loop. Looks like there is a lot to look forward to when I come back.

Wow.Beautiful. I love it when games have art that makes you feel part of a bigger world.

in 2020 computers are going to be so potent that it will be possible to create a massive MMO universe where all other games are connected.

A ship can actually land on all of those planets, one will be wow's world, another for every other game out there =P while in the space all of those ships from every space game will be traveling....

On a side note: that is extremely beautifull pictures there

That courier font in the bright blue is often hard to read. If you were a babbling idiot I wouldn't care, but I like reading your posts so I figured I would point it out in case others had the same problem.

*saves them and uses as desktop backgrounds*

That's one of the reasons why I love EVE so much; the settings are beautiful! Granted, they're just nebulae and mist and easy to create, but they still are extremely beautiful.

Main characters:
Wannabe Kosshair (Guild Wars)
Jinn Gone Quiet (Guild Wars)
Aladyleyna (Runescape)

is it? My eye sight was damaged in the military so I use a old CRT monitor (color is deeper and brighter for me) so it may show up differently to you guys and your nice high tech wide screen monitors.

Maybe ill go back to a normal white but with the same font, wouldnt want to have my posts ignored due to reading difficulty.

Thanks for the heads up.

Don't worry about what people think, they rarely do.

It's really amazing what the old CRT monitors are capable of displaying, especially in EVE. I have an old 19-inch I sometimes hook up just to see the depth and resolution on the ships. I think it one of those things you don't notice if you don't try it and have a really good video card, but it is amazing.

And yeah the color is a little harder to read

Very nice, EVE still has a lot to develop, the potential growth this game still has remaining is really incredible with the space sandbox concept.
