Whats the best one for solo pve ?

Haven't played that game in the last 3 or 4 years, i was a swordman/doctor back then (long time ago)

Downloading the trial right now, want to see what the game is like these days.

Id say Jedi is the best all around for pve and dark Jedi for pvp is pretty good soloer. Thou the best gear is a pain to get and can be a long grind to get everything for top gear. Commando stacking block are great tanks and are well liked in groups have great damage from Damage over time specials and are not to hard to gear up and get into highly level pve and pvp. If i was starting new without any credits or friends id probably go commando just cause of the easier to gear and lower cost on weapons. Getting a capped flame thrower or rocket laucher cost about 1.5-3 mil while getting saber capped can cost 3 mil just for resources and pearls sell upwards of 30 mil for best ones and for 5th gen it takes 5.

Thats best advise i can give.  

Great thing is that if you level one combat profession to something.. say 90.  You can respec for free to any other combat profession and you will be same level in that too.

Respec has a cost. It starts with 50k, then 100k. But if you only reset once pr. month. It will be free.  And it also ticks back.  So if you have reset twice.. and the cost is 100k. After two months its free again.

If you have leveled a crafter, entertainer and combat class (same character) to top. You can respec between all classes and always be top level.

Na Dark Jedi, the right set up and buffs you can mow down npcs.   If you are loot sifting its best to kill fast, back before they messed up fast spawns Id afk the Dark Jedi all night and usually end up with a few rare collections.  

Another thing youll need to know is that group sizes affects the loot drops.   I would run two accounts, have a Ent in a house near by with holos out and a pet,  doing it that way I could get a group size of about 7.    Which would let me sift alot of loot with bigger spawn sizes and with the group size better drops would happen.

Commando is really easy to solo with.

Granted you'll need to invest a lot of credits to get the right gear, but once you have everything you need, you're the best tank and damage dealer you can be.

I can agree with that. I just got my 5 piece Dark Fury set and that thing is insane. Multiple fury procs makes waste to any npc out there.
