I've been playing Beta for 2 days and this game is the furthest thing from being ready for a release. (Which is 5 days away) I'm not just talking bugs, the lack of content, and horrible graphics. I know its a beta and I expect those things. It's just so empty, theres not much to it. I could understand as a F2P game, but damn... they really need a lot more work to have a decent amount of subscribers in just 5 days.

Think miracle patch. Those always save the day, right? "This is the most intelligent, well qualified and articulate response to a post I have ever seen on these forums. Let's just hope their idea of the miracle patch isn't Cryptic's whole "Untested, unknown, game-altering/nerfing" patch they threw out on release day... =P |

I totally agree with the OP. The game would be playable as a F2P at most and only be average. The jump dont fit in with the physics. A total lack of content. Great game for a beta dont get me wrong, but this game is definately by no means ready for a release anytime soon (next month or two). |

I believe Kyleran is making an HZ pun, fiting since the dev team is basically made up of many of the original HZ dev team ;)
HZ is where the "Miracle Patch" term gained its infamy. |

The only thing left for us to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us... |
All of this has been feedbacked to the Alganon team. A lot. These concerns were already in the beta community a month ago. The Alganon team's response has generally been they are committed to launching their MMO on Oct 31st and damn the torpedoes. I don't mean that in a negative way either. I think they need to launch it on the 31st for whatever their reasons are. Hopefully whatever state it's in is enough. I know that a week ago it was NOT enough, but maybe this weeks' patch helped. Anyway we're all kind of hoping this one succeeds in some form, sooner or later. The concepts are pretty unique and it would be a shame to see an MMO like this die an early death. Keeping fingers crossed. :-) |

I'm hoping Allod's Online does good. This one already lost my hope. |

Game wasn't ready over a month ago. I had issues even logging into the game and asked numerous times for help with no reply from the staff. Myself and my girlfriend just uninstalled it and gave up. They honestly have no idea what their doing. |

Sure they do, just look at some of the responses on this board. They know that there are a bunch of morons that will toss money their way just because David Allen is making the game. Same thing happened in Tabula Rasa. Make your money now and get the hell out before the game crashes and burns and the investors want their return on investment. As low budget as this "game" looks I am sure that they will earn back the paltry amount they spent making the game from the ten thousand or so fools that will drop $50.00 for it. |
