I'm really thinking Harry Potter is the shoe-in for most likely to be made MMO. It has insane MMO potential. I'm sure it wouldn't be done right, though. No use getting excited. |

I am also a big fan of the original Dune RTS... 8) ------------------------- |

I would do anything for a Chronicles of Narnia MMO. I'm not too sure how the game mechanics would go, but I've always wanted to visit Narnia. Since I can't get there though my wardrobe, I guess I'll have to settle for the next best thing; through my computer screen. And hey, some of the races there are especially interesting too. Like the mermaids! Though I've always envisioned Narnia to be more of a sandbox though, because I can't see it following a rigid class/profession structure. It would be a lot more relevant to the world itself if you could chose to specialise in what you wanted rather than simply following the class structure, something like EVE Online. Firefly would make an awesome space-western based sandbox. For the themepark, I'm thinking zombies.Resident Evil, Land of the Dead. Instances where the goal isn't to get to the bottom, kill the boss and get the loot. It's just to get the hell out before you get dead. World needs a survival-horror MMO, I reckon. |

At any rate, now is the time for me to demand a Shadowrun movie so that I can then demand a Shadowrun MMO based on it. :)
Finally a voice of reason. Mullets for everyone |

We are star-stuff, the Universe made manifest, trying to figure itself out. |
Older series than firefly, but BABYLON 5 !!! (though maybe too old to get the hype needed/deserved). Then of course Harry Potter, though the hype is getting down, with thte last book being out for some years now and only a couple films to get out. But yes, it has potential, if played between the end of book 7 and the epilogue, or between chapter 1 and chapter 2 of book 1. Shadowrun, done right, could rock: technology AND magics (both academic and organic), a contemporary and dark setting with orcs, trolls, and elfs, the megacorps, the size of the world. Although I could also think of a couple comics that could be great, like Lanfeust or Donjon... |

Maybe someone has suggested this already, but, uh... Zombieland? Playing: World Of Warcraft |
The exact two that came to my mind! ;) "This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to. Relax....." |

- Constantine The ultimate war between good and evil on earth. - Underworld An eternal war between lycans and werewolves. - Transformers Humans, caught in the middle of a war between two machine races, battle for each side to tip the scales of balance in their favor. |

I did enjoy Push, but felt it just took another spin at Heroes, I wouldn't mind a MMORPG Push, but would even like Heroes to become a MMORPG much more.
But most of all I would like a Bladerunner game, to be honost any genre would do if they could get the right feel of Bladerunner, but a MMORPG......for me that would just "hopefully...depending how it would turn out" be a dream game. ------------------------------------------------------------ |

I'd love to play a faithful Cthulhu mythos mmo, but it's probably still has to many IP obstacles to make that happen. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy mmo would be interesting. A Gravity's Rainbow would be intellectually provocative. A mmo based on some of the Philip K Dick SciFi books has been mentioned above and would be a great universe to base a game on. |
