12-14 there are loads of quest for both Asmodians and Elyos, I know because I'm within that level range. Both Elyos and Asmodians get loads of quests in their forest area even after they run out of quests there they only have to walk a short distance to get some more. This is not a game. |

Yup, my asmo glad ran out of quest at lvl 13, 19, 24 and 29. Overall I grinded more then 6 lvl purely on mobs. I did skip most group quest except Black Claw. He is lvl 31 now and after these 2 last level of grind I can see 2 more ahead. I am rerolling a templar and so far I am lvl 16 with him and full of quest, no grind in sight... The only difference between my 2 toons so far is that I gather and craft with my templar, (something I didn't do with my glad) and I will do most group quest with him so I don't think he will hit the grind wall (wich made me reroll). |

Can't talk about Asmo, but being Elyos almost 20 I just started to do the Krall group quests. I could grind just a bit to get to 20 and start heading to Eltnen and get some more quests but i never had a single problems with quests so far. |

im not sure where you guys are having issues from but at 20-25 between brostliem( i think) and the Morheim regions, im packed with quests on the asmodea side. im on 24 now and i still have quite a bit more quests. I suggest you take a trip to both regions and quest.

Wow some of you are just terri-bad players (sorry it has to be said)...
Either that or full of shit...
Like - running out of quests at level 13? Are you SERIOUS? I had a full quest log at that level... how the hell can you run out of quests?
As for the lvl 21 block - there's a bit of grinding to do there - you CAN do it through quests but you have to run around a little bit. To be honest, you're pretty much better off grinding a 1/3 of a level and get to 22 when a ton of new quests open up for you. Im lvl 23 on my Asmo character and I have about 18-20 quests to do, not including my campaign quest. I did get some of these at 22 though - so you may not have access to all of them before tha point.
That being said - there are LOTS of quests in that level range you just need to find them. IE: Actually explore and find new NPC's. Sometimes they are just randomly placed and doesn't have to always be in the main town. You need to explore and look around... it isn't all hand-fed (which some people like and some don't - depends on the perspective). |

Yet people complain there are "no quests" but can't walk 50 feet outside a town to find them. Cute....

Yes, there are some quests in Panda, one dealing with the arena and the other with the book in the library. But in my case, I repeat, MY CASE, it was not enough to get me to level 14. I did have high level campaign quests but the mobs associated with those quests were too high level for me. BTW, I can't seriously consider repeatable quests as actual quests. Killing 20 taygas or bringing the guy something to drink 100 times is not content.

I got to 17 before I had to "grind" a single mob... and I didn't do ANY repeatable quests.
Do you think PERHAPS that you aren't finding all the quests? Did you go south past basfelt village to find the NPC with a bunch of quests? Did you do all the ones in the north side?
There are a TON of quests in that area... maybe you aren't a bad player (I apologize if that came off harsh it wasn't intended directly at you) - but you should explore more to find more quests.
People complain the game is linear but don't want to go find any quests/content... its strange |

If you somehow manage to finish up the quests you get in that area at level 13, you'll have to grind the rest of the way. Which isn't a bad grind at all, but it's still there.

Haha! If you dont like working for your levels (unlike other MMOs) you may as well leave Aion now. Nothing in Aion comes easy so most gamers will be turned off right away. I personally love it!! Having a blast so far. :-) "Mom, I play Tera for the gameplay I swear!!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-2paFdRw_U |

It's been well reported in the past that Asmos, 20-25 has less quests than Elyos. Most complaining for shortage of quests has always come from Asmos players while the Elyos players would always respond with troll comments insulting the Asmos players having a lack of intelligence. If you do every quest in Panda as well as grind your gathering you may only need to do repeatables a few times. Otherwise you'll need to grind on repeatable quests. A lot of people don't do the city quests and miss out on a lot of experience. If you aren't into reading text just have the quests locate your destination for you and knock them out. Aion is one of the most hand holding linear, no mods required games out there. You can do it! If you don't get bored out of your skull first. |

I don't understand how you guys are running out of quests, i mean you would strictly have to focus on just what the quests make you do or buy the drops you need off broker. Honestly if you run out of quests, its your own fault. I'm sitting here at 30 with roughly 7-10 quests in 3 different zones, not even including the campaigns, and up to this point have never had a shortage on them. Make sure to check outside of town, theirs lots of npc's in various camps that give quests. |

Just cruise the city, do some tradeskills, grind gathering, it's boring but it helps if you're Asmodian hitting the 20-25 grind. It picks back up pretty heavily at 30 though, then slows down again later. It's a pretty easy, mind numbing game, with completely pointless time sinks, but if you can get past the boring you may like it later when you get into the Abyss. I know, it's the same argument fanboys have been making since early beta days.

Im level 24 and this is complete BS. I have been having fun with this game since day 1. If it gets better at 25, then great, but as it is now, I am loving it. |

Let me know how you like it when you start your third alt and have to go through 1-25 again the exact same way you did it the previous two times. Or are you going to be like a lot of others and burn out at level 40 on your first character? |

I've noticed that it seems to depend on playstyle. When I solo, I just barely keep up with quests. When I join full groups, for group content, I get ahead of my quests. The real problem seems to arise when I join small groups. We aren't strong enough for the group content, but we end up getting less xp from the solo content, and run out of quests. Personally, I find this frustrating. I prefer small groups, but Aion's almost all about either soloing, or the full balanced group stuff. Not much in between. Would probably fix the problem if we could get more quests when they were ahead of us in level. Too tough to solo, but perfect for 2-3 people.
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world. |
