Mythic will be looking at the computer stats of most applicants to closed beta. This is still a business regardless of what they promised through some promotional BS.
Early closed beta will be needing high performance rigs to run the game decently. They will most likely use the lower end computers towards the end of closed beta.
If they dont get enough high end computers with the CO LT/6mth subs they they will add testers from general beta applicants.

Actually, Mythic wont bedealing with this at all, as the game is being made by CRAPtic.

They (CRAPtic) will get people that betatested for them before and they were happy with ther work. Once they let all of them in in few waves, they will slowly start letting in people from contest / CO deals / who signed to get into beta again in waves, but all groups at the same time. Most of the lifetime subscribers wont get in until a week or so of the closed beta.

Still waiting for Email as 6 month subscriber.

There population from my perspective was already dead. Haven't played it for weeks...such a boring game.

you need a 6 month subscription for one betakey? wow, that's a expensive test demo: "Beta" is a nickname for software which has passed the alpha testing stage of development and has been released to users for software testing before its official release. they should pay the tester for testing their software, they make later the cash with the product, the testers don't get paid for this important job.
