Actually ... everything feels like f2p to me. Despite better then any f2p i have ever played. F2p are usually such crap that players play only because they are f2p. With monthly fee they would close pretty fast. But maybe it is just me. I'm just expresing here my opinion like many others.

I would have to disagree here.  CoX and CO have better flight than Aion.  And you can fly/hover anywhere and with/without wings. They aren't complex, which I don't think flight should be in an MMO, but the scale is pretty awesome.

My legion of 40 has only lost 1 person due to not really getting into the game. Everyone else is loving it, even the casual people who only play a couple hours at a time a few days a week.

We actually just approved a new member same day as one said he was leaving, so I don't know where all these DOOOOOM predictions are coming from. Cept maybe from people who want to see the game fail?

there is a simple explanation.if u think aion looks looks like f2p then any other mmo looks like f2p cause it has superior graphics to all of them,.except aoc and thats a fact.not an opinion. if u think aion looks like f2p then i dont know how u should feel playing wow.wow looked like shit even when it came out. gameplay was close to moronical, no end game content .no nothing. just stolen lore very well advertised.. it is ur own problem that asian games automatically remind u to f2p which is quite reasonable, but aion is very very VERY far from that... this whole thread is pointeless. aion wont die, its going successfully in korea for a year now with milion + subscribers. sure there r  quitings. reasons are mainly cause ppl are used to wows uber casualness and +if u whine enaugh we WILL give u free epix+ system. or they just dont want to like it. some ppl actually have some valid point for quiting such as grind which is EXACTLY  EXACTLY the same as in wow. and they go back to wow.

This thread was obviously made by a WoW supporter. Set out to help destroy an MMO that is clearly impacting the WoW population. There was a time when other MMO supporters lashed out at WoW and people (like the person that started this thread) laughed and defended WoW to the fullest.

This is what people that read these threads need to understand. Forget about reading a post about marketing strategy. Blizzard does the same thing (the Wallmart of MMO's). Those of you that still play AION,,, play with your heart because in the end, that's all that matters, not an extremist's opinion.

FYI.. I dont play AION because im a core player of another MMO. However, im keeping it real when it comes to stupid threads created by player haters.

This is a weak post actually VERY weak.I like to discuss game aspects,who really cares how many are joining or leaving?This is a weak attempt to bash Aion for no reason,if you want to discuss it's weaknesses,that is fine but talking about player subscriptions is something i expect from WOW players.

I tire of the many, this game is the best or we have this many subs posts.This is suppose to be a place to discuss what we believe is good and bad about a game or what we like to see in a game.Create a lot of ideas for other developers to see and read,what could anyone possibly get from a post talking about subscription numbers?

As long as the people playing it are enjoying it, what does it matter? I havent bought it as it just didn.t appeal to me, but that doesnt mean I want it to "fail". This is as bad as console fanboyism..the type of gamer you all proffess to hate.

Surely as an MMO fan, any successful game is a success for the industry? i dont want to see lots of "wow-clones" either although i hate using the term. I guess people use it as wow is still the most successful Mmorpg araound, and its just sour grapes., but I understand the sentiment. Im sick to death of bloody elves too.

One of the most sensible comments made in this thread is that we are on the whole already getting bored of the genre. I swear to god, if I have to kill another wolf in an MMO again I.ll flip and start killing game developers instead!

I.ll keep buying them and watching in dismay as my drawer fills up with disgarded game boxes, waiting to find the game that draws me in and keeps me interested like that one game a few years back did. maybe <insert game name here> will do it..I cant wait until it is released!

I think I might just go play Fallout or Oblivion. At least I dont have to rely on anyone else to get the most out of the game.

Maybe Ill just stick one more month on EQ2, or LOTRO, or Fallen Earth... that at least doesnt have elves in it.

The whole combat system of Tabula Rasa was 100 times more fluid and smooth as hell. And TAB targeting actually worked.

The mob AI in Tabula Rasa was also 100 times better. The Alien drop ships dropping off patrols and such. Best thing I've ever seen in an MMO to date.

They just had to fix the skill trees and add more content. That's all.

Agreed.  I had a lvl 47 Doctor in TR, loved the combat and the skill trees.  The Mob AI was hands down the best I have ever experienced.  But with no endgame it was destined to lose subs.  Ah well.

As for AION, lvl 31 Cleric and I'm aout done, cant take the grind aspect, bots and spammers.  The games PVE is seriously lacking as well. 

Another one bites the dust (for me anyway).  NEXT!!  Who am I kidding, just gonna go back to WOW for a bit till SWTOR hits.
