The sad thing is that everyone would have been able to come to those conclusions without the BBC trying too hard to highlight it all, they effectively created a kangaroo court and the outcome has been that pathetic sympathy for Griffen over the BBC's mishandling of the show has actually garnered increased support for the BNP.

...The spread of secondary and latterly of tertiary education has created a large population of people, often with well developed literary and scholarly tastes, who have been educated far beyond their capacity to undertake analytical thought.

First of all to state some basic facts about this episode of Question Time as a support to what im about to say.

Audience was carefully chosen to be anti BNP.

Audience was allowed to Boo.

Frankly this wasant nessasary or wise to allow as his views would have been made plain anyway and he wouldnt get any oppertunity to get sympathy.

The BBC and the audience could have easily destroyed the BNP if they asked policies questions..
