The key word in any game is "Fun!"

Why can't wow be more individual friendly? As much as I like being in a guild or grouping with others...Why can't I do my own thing when I want and get the best gear by myself? Sometimes I just like doing my own thing and improving by myself.

Being in a guild is special...Being an individual is priceless!

It's a multiple-player game ( you know......MMORPG? ) , if you want the best gear with solo play you'd be better off in a single type game.

Being an individual..."U know! Being yourself!" Should make a difference in any game...Even an mmorpg...

Really? Then explain why 95% of the population spend a vast majority of their time soloing from level 1 to 80.

If you become obsessed with something you're chasing, there's a good chance you'll forget why you're chasing it.

I know this thread is a few months old but i got somethings to say.

I just started playing wow almost 2 months ago and so far i feel like i have achieved alot compared to what i've done in 2 months as a noob in other mmo's.

I mean the first month i had a 57 hunter and a 68 dk and like 2.5k gold not including the 100's i spent on stuff.

And i haven't even really done much group stuff or dungeons/instances just questing and whatever.

I slowed down playing after the first month and started some alts and tried some bg's so my dk is only 72 and has full rest xp but ... questing 60+ seems like if you play alone.. the quest rewards are really good or good enough for questing/soloing.

Seems like you (the OP) wants to be able to have the best stuff and not have group to get it.

But the "best" gear is supposed to be a challenge to get so making the best stuff easy to get is kinda dumb not to mention it's a MMORPG ffs.

You can still be pretty strong in quest/drop gear you can get solo, there are other mmo' where that isn't possible.. like Anarchy online for example you need to know people or try hard to get a team in that game to do anything and every thing is work atleast in wow you have the option to play solo from lvl 1- max lvl and do pretty good.

Like i said my dk is 72 and if/when i get it or any of my chars to 80 i can choose to keep playing alone or do hard core grouping for really good gear or i can play lower level alts or whatever and occasionly raid/group for good gear.

But when i get my dk to 80 i might just leave it in whatever the best gear i could get on my own is and jsut use it to run guildm8's or whatever through instances and collect minerals/herbs and whatnot there are alot of options. And play alt's.

i'm not an elitist.. four years or so of anarchy online taught me not to worry about being the best or better then the majority and to just try to have fun and be the best i can be without getting annoyed by to much work.
